The Heritage Oversight Project has identified three swing states – Georgia, Nevada and Wisconsin – where they believe removing Biden from the Democratic ticket would prevent anyone else from replacing him.
Wisconsin does not allow withdrawal from the ballot for any reason besides death, while in Nevada, no changes can be made to the ballotafter 5 p.m. on the fourth Friday in June of an election year unless ‘a nominee dies or is adjudicated insane or mentally incompetent.’ In Georgia, if Biden were to withdraw less than 60 days before the election, his name would remain on the ballot but no votes would be counted.
According to a draft from The Heritage Oversight Project obtained by the Daily Mail:
Three of the expected six most contested states have some potential for pre-election litigation aimed at exasperating, with legitimate concerns for election integrity, the withdrawal process for a presidential candidate.
GA, NV, and WI, have specific procedures for withdrawal of a presidential nominee with differing degrees of applicability and timelines.’ WI does not allow withdrawal for any reason besides death.”

I just looked it up. By golly, you’re right. The consent of Congress is not required. The 25A only requires Congress to be notified, at least at first. And to be honest, that surprised me.

No. US rats would NEVER throw an election. Ever. Winning is everything and when they do they do everything they can to weld the door shut. They lack the capacity to have the kind of nuanced thinking you suggest.
Well, given the choice between losing power or keeping Biden, I think most will agree that Biden’s days are numbered. The only thing for them to decide is how to make it look like an accident or a heath issue.
Killing Biden or declaring him incompetent results in President Heels Up.
There is no way around that. That is the problem with all speculation about removing Biden.

Not following The Constitution at all can bring the possibility of sticking Obama there.

We know he can't form a cogent thought - now proven - but I have one key point:
There is no argument I will accept that they didn't plan this all along. We all knew this was coming; most of us know that this is all according to plan. I literally asked my parents - one of whom is a heavy democrat - whether they were angry their choice for POTUS wouldn't occur and said, "You should be" (this happened on Father's Day).
One of those two - death or 25A - will bear out "as scheduled"...but one overarching question:
"WHY???" are they waiting until the last minute for something they've known for A YEAR OR MORE was likely to occur?
None of the possible answers are less than very disturbing...

The delegates are bound to vote for Biden. They don’t have a choice.
Also, all the money raised for the Biden Harris ticket can only go to Biden......and if he dies or is declared incompetent, to Harris. They cannot slide somebody else in there to receive the hundreds of millions in donations raised.
Then there is the matter of the 3 swing states. Its too late to replace Biden on the ticket barring his death or the 25th amendment but that means Harris is immediately declared president and then how in the world can the Democrats deny her the nomination as the sitting president? Remember these are DEMOCRAT voters. You can’t just get rid of a “woman of color” in favor of a White man. It would be very dicey to replace her in favor of a White woman.
They’re stuck.
It’s an election strategy used by Canadian federal liberals all the time.
Make Trump become unpopular to fix things and get elected in four years, with the promise of more spending.
Whether the American Democrat is bright enough to do that, I don’t know. But I know that the Canadian liberals do this all the time.
