Tractor Supply, a retail chain that sells home improvement equipment, livestock and agricultural supplies for farmers and pet owners, is eliminating diversity, equity and inclusion roles; withdrawing carbon emission goals; and walking back support for the LGBTQ community as part of sweeping changes to environmental, social and governance initiatives, the company announced this week.
The retailer said in a Thursday release that it will no longer submit data to the Human Rights Campaign, an LGBTQ advocacy group. The company will also stop sponsoring Pride festivals and voting campaigns, the release said. The company previously earned a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2022 Best Places to Work Corporate Equality Index.
The announcement comes in the final days of Pride Month.
Tractor Supply is also retiring initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact and improving employee diversity. The company had set goals to achieve net zero carbon emissions in operations by 2040 and to reduce its water usage by 2025. Its DEI targets included boosting the number of employees of color at the manager level and above by 50% by 2026.
Tractor Supply said it’s making the changes to better represent the values of the communities and customers it serves. The retailer caters to largely rural communities, with 50,000 employees across 2,250 stores in 49 states, according to company data.
“Rural communities are the backbone of our nation and what make America great,” Tractor Supply said in the news release. “We have heard from customers that we have disappointed them. We have taken this feedback to heart.”

A very good observation, and highly likely.
Fed (and some state) agencies use lawfare, unending regulation, and audits to force hiring and high pay to wokster Globalist Homo programs.
Good riddance.
They "announced" they were "walking back support."
There's a big difference between saying you're going to do something and actually doing it.
Screw them. They should have known better in the first place, given what their main customer base is.
I used to shop there about every time I went to a city where they have a store, but won’t anymore. (I actually have a real tractor and have bought parts for it there) and water pumps and similar stuff from them, as well as tools and more mainstream consumer products.
They publicly support deviates, assorted misfits and dangerous mental cases. They should be publicly mocked and scorned on sight.
Tranny Supply!
Well said.
That’s Right!
Went into a TCS in Yreka to get wheel barrow handles.
They had one.
It is totally logical and smart but this is still just stunning. Almost as much so as whatever gave them the idiotic idea of embracing that woke crap in the first place.
The multi-year boycotts of NFL and Bed, Bath and Beyond remain in place.
I have a Tractor Supply within 8 minutes drive, but have found Rural King has a better inventory and is much less expensive. Plus, Rural King has free popcorn at all times so you can snack while you shop. Can’t beat that can ya?
Yes! When I purchase equipment, such as my beloved Stihl products, again....Rural King! Bought my first arborist chainsaw at True Value since Tractor Supply didn’t carry them and found out it was $100 cheaper at Rural King. (Anyone notice I love Rural King?) Bought all the rest of my Stihl stuff there after that.

Outstanding.
Ha ha! One week of a nascent conservative boycott and they have seen the light
It works, people! You have more power than you know, and social media carries the message at the speed of light
“They were catering to Blackrock.”
You may have nailed it with that statement.
Hell w Tractor Supply, go to Rural King, they ROCK!!!!’
Yep, NFL, MLB, and NBA and NHL
Except the Texas Rangers. . .
and Bed Bath Beyond and Starbucks. Campbell’s Soup forever. What else? Planet Fitness where I used to go. Target.
Oh yeah Cracker Barrel lost me too. I loved Cracker Barrel. No more Burger King since they started the GayBurger thing. It’s been years and it used to be my favorite fast food burger. Saw perverted ads for Shake Shack so won’t go there either. Never ordered from the ChiComs of TEMU, never will.
But I am of the opinion that if a company reverses course, I will go back. Otherwise what is the point of a boycott. I want to reward good behavior. If there is no reward they have no incentive to change. It’s not like they have a conscience.
