Former President Donald Trump did not announce his running mate Thursday night as he’d teased. But he did give an on-stage shoutout to one of the top contenders: U.S. Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina.

I like Vivek, Kari Lake, J.D. Vance (lack of charisma, very DeSantis-like though..),
I think the conservative with the biggest balls in Congress is ANNA PAULINA LUNA though.. And the HOT factor is way up there, lol
Peter Navarro? Oh hell, STEVE BANNON !!!!
This. Yet you have conservatives always bragging that the first blacks in Congress were Republicans.
Don’t forget General Flynn!
Whaaat???
VIVEK is a PITBULL!!! So is ELISE STEPHANIK!!
I trust Stephanik about as much as I trust Michael Cohen.
I don’t know what Trump is actually thinking. No one does. But I do think Tim Scott would be a good choice. It would certainly may make it difficult for the Dems to ax Kamala. And it would eat into their support from black voters.
Vivek is not eligible
His parents weren’t American citizens when he was born
“Pick me, pick me!”
How does Tim Scott actually poll with black voters?
“But I do think Tim Scott would be a good choice.”
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
If Tim Scott can win the election for Trump, then I’m all in.
Nothing else matters except winning in November.
All other criteria can be ignored.
I do not have a concise answer, other than knowing there are enough PREDIICTABLE African-Americans who would vote for Trump in he ran accompanied by a Black, such as Tim Scott.
Biden used that ploy when he chose Harris as VP.. several Blacks voted for Biden because of it thinking she was his BLACK running mate... and she's NO MORE BLACK than Jimmy Carter. She's Jamaican and Indian ( India )
It doesn't take much to fool the DIM BULBS.
No Rinos! No to Tim Scott!
He needs to pick a VP whom the deep state loathes as much as they do Trump - as close to a red meat MAGA Republican as he can find, or at least a solid conservative who has remained a “ride or die” the past 8 years. A consigliere.
I can’t think of one who perfectly fits the bill, but some solid choices as far as loyalty and strong conservatism I can think of might be General Flynn, Ted Cruz, Rick Grenell, Kari Lake, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Devin Nunes. Other decent choices I can think of (at least as far as I know of them) could be Lee Zeldin, Gov. Youngkin (might help swing VA), Rick Scott maybe? Andy Biggs?
