Members of President Joe Biden’s Cabinet should consider invoking the 25th Amendment to remove the president, two sitting U.S. senators suggested. They said Biden’s performance in the first presidential debate against former President Donald Trump raised questions about his ability to perform his office.

“We’ve definitely entered 25th Amendment territory,” Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, wrote on X.

“If you think Democrats in Washington and across the country aren’t talking about the 25th Amendment right now, you’re crazy,” Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., wrote. “It’s not a question of whether he should be on the ballot. That ship has sailed. It’s a question of whether he can serve as president right now.”

Right.

Dangerous tightrope they are walking.

We don’t actually want Brandon off the ballot. The country will survive six more months of his incompetence.

It's early. Also, I suspect that there is the aspect that Bide, as a former senator, is part of the club.

Biden needs to be thoroughly humiliated“

Exactly, my instinct is to feel pity until l reflect on who we are talking about. Traitor Joe is a nasty, vicious, vindictive and corrupt man. He has always used whatever power he has to destroy anyone he disagrees or dislikes. As President he has inflicted misery on an entire nation. It’s my ability to feel pity for this evil man.

Mike Lee and Rick Scott oughta shut da hell up.

Don’t tell me they didn’t know until LAST NIGHT that Biden is a cadaver.

They think we’re stupid. Typical Republican politicians.. - “..Oh!.. Why, this is an OUTRAGE!.. WE’LL fix this!!!..”

And people fall for it.. again..

lets be honest here, this wasn’t even about the “debate” this was and is about someone who is suffering from cognitive decline associated with aging.

Anyone who has ever had to deal with this in real life knows that people who are suffering from this can have good days and bad days. But as time goes on the good ones get less and less.

Biden going to a rally today doesn’t prove he is fine, it only proves that he might be having a good day TODAY, or at least at that particular moment!

But what IF there is a national crisis, Putin shoots nukes at us or whatever you can imagine, and Biden happens to be having one of his ever more frequent episodes? This could endanger the entire world!

It is beyond selfish for this to continue.

Joe is done, and I am sorry liberals but that means Trump is going to win, because Newsom or whoever you could possibly replace him with will do WORSE in Pennsylvania than Biden. And if Trump win Pennsylvania he wins, PERIOD.

Few people seem to understand the 25th amendment. Using it would not remove Biden—it would just make Kamala the Acting President. The only way to deal with the situation is to get Biden to resign. Then the media will have 4 months to try to persuade the public that Kamala is a great President. (The Democrats would be forced to make her their nominee.)

“ They know they’re going to lose with this horse in the race.”

At this point, they’re going to lose regardless of what they do. All they can do is try to hold back the down-ballot bloodbath. For the Democrats now, it’s every man (woman, it-thing) for themselves.

The count is now up to seven:

Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) - He has urged Attorney General Merrick Garland to invoke the 25th Amendment or prosecute Biden, citing concerns over Biden's mental fitness and cognitive decline.

Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) - He questioned Biden's fitness for office and called for the 25th Amendment to be invoked if Biden's cognitive issues pose a threat to national security.

Senator Rick Scott (R-Fla.) - Scott stated that Biden's debate performance confirmed the need for the 25th Amendment, pointing to Biden's memory lapses and mental decline as reasons for his removal.

Representative Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) - Jackson declared Biden mentally unfit for office, calling for the invocation of the 25th Amendment, emphasizing that Biden's health has become a national security issue.

Representative Chip Roy (R-Texas) - Roy called for invoking the 25th Amendment, arguing that Biden's performance and cognitive issues are significant threats to the country.

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) - Greene demanded either the 25th Amendment be invoked or impeachment proceedings be initiated against Biden due to his mental decline.

Representative Mary Miller (R-Ill.) - Miller also called for Biden to resign or for his Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment, stressing that Biden's cognitive lapses endanger national security.

Republicans need to stay the hell away from this. The Democrats created this Frankenstein monster let them deal with it. So Lee an Chip Roy need to STFU...there is a process to 25th amendment but it has to be BIDENS CABINET! lex

Lee, Scott and Roy need to shut up and stop being Lindsay Graham level stupid. Brandon is fine, just ask his wife, Dr. Jilkyll.

If they want to replace someone, toss Mitch McConnell overboard.

It’s a TRAP! Don’t give them that gift. Pretty sure if Joe gets removed by 25th he is immune to prosecution for everything. Also pretty sure that was the plan all along.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For everything? I doubt that. Plenty of crimes he committed as VP and before.
Post of the thread.
That is totally doable—and there is no excuse for not doing it.
