After Thursday night’s debate performance, one thing is crystal clear: The national Democratic Party must immediately announce they will seek to replace President Joe Biden as the presumptive candidate.
We can do better than this. There are still nearly two months before the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, scheduled for late August. Thursday’s debate made it clear that Biden must be replaced as the candidate with someone — anyone.
Even California Gov. Gavin Newsom. It could be a Hail Mary play for the ages, bringing Newsom in to save the day like a handsome Hollywood leading man in a Sorkinesque script. He could rally delegates and fill them with enthusiasm. It would harken to a sense of normalcy in our country — even if it’s a rich, white, cis sense of normalcy.

All I know is that as they were talking about how Dems were in a panic to a person, Gavin Newsom was in the background looking like he just discovered his long, lost love carrying a puppy and a bottle of champagne. The guy looked positively ecstatic.
I’ve been saying that I thought that they would use Bidon as cannon fodder to waste the debates on and then replace him with somebody else and they would refuse to have a debate, saying that one has already been done.
It’s almost like the media had these replacement stories ready to go🤣
Suburban women win elections for the Democrats. Greasy Gavin with his slicked back hair and good looks plus his used car salesman personality will work well on them. Look, the Democrats don’t have any good options left now. Going to Hillary, another old candidate to replace another old candidate isn’t going to work. It’s Newsom with Jennifer Granholm as his running mate as the Democrat ticket.

If they really wanted to win, they would bring out Andy Beshear.

They’ll cheat and Gavin will win. They can’t cheat Biden into office this time.

1. Newsome does not sell in the South or the Midwest. At all. Biden is a much stronger candidate in the Midwest than Newsome is. The polling consistently shows that.
2. California is a disaster. All the hair gel and fake smiles in the world can't hide that fact.
The Daily Mail has said that it was an unqualified disaster for Bidon.
Possibly that as well.
He would be an interesting pick, but I think Newsom/Whitmer is their most likely ticket. Everyone is talking about Hillary, but after watching old man Biden falter I think the Democrat hierarchy will think twice about nominating another older person to replace him.
Not when your objective is the destruction and humiliation of the United States, you can’t. For that, Joe is perfect.
