A brute caught-on-camera beating a Queens deli worker unconscious was nabbed this week — and he’d shaved off the green hair he sported during the vicious attack, authorities said.
Osvel Diaz, 29, was charged with attempted murder following his arrest Wednesday evening in the June 17 beatdown at Sunnyside Mini Market Deli in Woodside that left the 62-year-old employee with internal bleeding, cops said.
The career criminal didn’t say a word as two detectives escorted him out of the 108th Precinct station house in Long Island City Thursday morning, wearing a black T-shirt and gray sweatpants and with a freshly-shaved head.
The heavily-tattooed man – whose ink depicts skulls and a heart that appears to be adorned with the word “KILLER” in all caps – has 25 prior arrests, mostly for robbery, police said.
He was also charged with first-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child, because a child was present when he was apprehended, according to cops and sources. The child was not hurt.

Surveillance video shows suspect wanted in brutal beating of Queens deli worker
Is he out on NO bond yet? Does he have a gag order against him speaking?
Charge accordingly.
He’s going to find out that he’s just a poser amongst real criminals.
He should have been on a work farm in chains. We’ve become too soft.
So what?
Charges dropped by some Soros DEI prosecutor.
Twenty five arrests for robbery and he’s still walking free. WTF does it take to be jailed in NYC these days? Oh that’s right, an accounting error on a Quicken form.
25 previous arrests, mostly for robbery, and he’s free as a bird. That’s an atrocity in itself.
No charges. Local men act accordingly.
Paging Dexter Morgan, Paging Dexter Morgan. Dexter Morgan, please pick up the white courtesy phone. You have an urgent call from New York City.

Just be a Trump supporter and trigger someone who isn’t.
I suspect Osvel Diaz has a hard drug problem—meth or fentanyl—affecting his brain’s decision-making and judgement. He is virtually out of control; like those robots that have a circuit problem. The lax justice system allows such mentally compromised individuals to bounce from one crime to another like a ping pong ball in a box car.
He is a sorry excuse for life.
Sparky please pick up the courtesy phone.
3ed generation New Yorker, or a recent arrival? After all, he's only been arrested 25 times before. Is AOC hosting a GoFundMe page to cover his bail?
And as suspected, he was allowed right back out on the street, obviously with no time served. I checked NY State's Corrections system for any incarceration history for him and found nothing.
"Diaz pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was granted a conditional discharge in that case, according to the Queens DA’s Office."
They should be completely humiliated!!
"He was required to complete six days of an anger management course as part of the plea agreement, prosecutors said."
Well I'm glad to see that worked so well.
These people are freaking morons. I worked in uniform in NY State's prison system for 25 years. I retired in 2003. If I was an officer today, my job would be in jeopardy because not only are they closing more prisons in the State to save money, they aren't putting anyone in prison anymore. I used to tell people back then to remember, not all criminals were behind bars. That was in the 1980's. It's an even more important reminder today.
this is happening all over the country...animals attacking and killing or nearly killing....
be watchful...be careful...
Local citizens should seize him and cut off his right arm, left leg, and an eye ......to remind him and warn others.
