It’s debate day. Insanely early (the contestants have yet to be nominated), but debate day nonetheless.
It’s Rocky versus Apollo. The rematch. Or more like Rocky versus Mickey — if Rocky’s elderly trainer had been reduced to a senile stooge in the throes of dementia, better suited for an assisted living facility than the boxing ring.
But we’ve been told ad nauseam by President Joe Biden’s handlers and his corporate media public-relations firm that the Democrat is ready for the rhetorical fight with a bare-knuckle brawler. After all, young Joe Biden once went toe to toe with a Delaware gang leader. Corn Pop was a “bad dude,” Biden told us. A bad dude with a blade. But he backed down upon seeing Joe armed with a six-foot chain and an apology. At least that’s the old windbag’s story, and he’s sticking to it.
But what kind of Joe Biden will viewers with a presidential debate fetish see on stage tonight against former President Donald Trump, the soon-to-be three-time GOP presidential nominee that Biden’s Justice Department is trying hard to imprison?
Will it be rise-to-the-occasion Joe, the guy who astounds Dem-friendly political commentators with his clarity of message and unusual burst of vigor — manufactured as it may be? Expectations for this guy have long been lower than the bunker he hid out in during the 2020 election. Or will it be Hollywood gliteratti fundraiser Joe, the petrified piece of human wood that freezes up for seconds on stage in his best Cocaine Mitch impersonation? (If so,...

You can bet, he will not answer one question...he will give a monologue on the subject...from the notes before him...and nothing more.
Jacked up Joe will show up. His eyes will be bigger than saucers.
I deliberately did not watch the past debates but yesterday saw a few seconds of Biden sneering at Trump in 2020 and calling him a liar. So triggered I can see why I didn’t watch.
Biden is the biggest liar in recent corrupt politician history.
Does it really matter which Joe shows up? Ultimately the guy is a LEMON as a president.

You can always tell a habitual liar......they lie even when it’s not necessary...and that’s taterhead alright.
It doesn’t matter which one shows up because it doesn’t make a damn bit of difference.....he could freeze up for 5 minutes straight or pass out completely and the liberal media will find a way to spin it as a positive.
The only way Trump wins is when jacked up Joe has a stroke on live TV.
Then the liberal spin would be taterhead died protecting “democracy” from the evil orange man.

For weeks they trot him out with blank stares, moving round like a half inflated balloon, and then watch as all the video clips come out showing him to be a decrepit old man.
Then they fill him up with whatever drugs are that turn him into a maniac and it makes all those videos seem false. The Cheap Fakes, as they have now started calling them.
It's the State of the Union speech all over again. The difficulty here is that there is supposedly not a script. What is likely to happen is that the moderators will incorporate most of the talking points into the question, so Biden just has to give a short riff on a few key words.
This might be a strategy that works for Biden, and I think the people that are expecting Biden to crash and burn are going to be disappointed.
Just remember, these handlers have been doing this for several years now, and will have the full cooperation from CNN and the moderators. It wouldn't surprise me if Tapper and Bash have been participating in the debate prep by phone or Zoom.
So probably we will hear claims like that from Biden tonight. Of course they make the comparisons to 2020 and the downturn caused by the shutdowns.
Him barely being able to walk during the debate is enough for the strategy but it's easier if he's doesn't humiliate himself. But if he does, he still won (according the the media narrative they've already written)
