The Military Coup in the Bolivian Capital of La Paz, is reportedly being led by Bolivian Army General Juan José Zúñiga
I am not with you at all on that, pal.
I presume you’re a professional polluter.
Should I presume you are a pagan earth worshiper?
By your definition? Probably!
And it will disrupt the poppy fields and coca farms.
So will the official language of Bolivia become Swedish?
To all you rotten, filthy, degenerate “Jan.6” democrat pussies, this is what a right proper coup looks like! FOAD!
Looks kinda similar to what Speaker Pelosi did after January 6th. Remember all the military at the Capitol, and the fencing everywhere?
“I am a realist.”
no you are most definitely NOT.Maybe he is just a person who has seen the complete ruination of the underground aquifer in Salar de Uyuni.
I am probably the most cynical person you will find re: the “environmental movement” having finally left the field of environmental engineering in 1996 because I just could not stomach the kind of nonsense that drives the train among that crowd.
That does not erase the fact that Lithium mining, when done without regard to freshwater aquifers, literally will destroy the ability of hundreds of thousands of people to have water for crops. You drill deep wells and pump salt water thru the fresh water aquifers and dry out the water to extract the lithium..... that is a seriously wanting explanation of the process but it hits the core. These aquifers will NOT recharge in one or two generations.
No, I am not a pagan earth worshiper and I am in favor of all kinds of environmental blasphemies. I am a “climate change denier” and am extremely pro nuclear energy (thorium salt bed, not uranium/plutonium), and I think “sustainable energy” programs are an utter joke. I also believe God made man as well as so called “fossil fuels” (which do not, I believe, come from carbon based life forms) and we should use them. All that said, yes, Lithium mining can bring tremendous ruination to the ecosystem, and great suffering to those around it.
“environmental degradation from lithium mines is horrible in developing countries.”
If it gets in the water supply people may stop lying, stealing and blaming others for their self-inflicted problems. They may even go to work, build a home and take care of their family. AKA a “Right-wing extremist”.
It could have been an insurrection or a usurpation of power!😵
Sounds like our current “prez” . Can we please have a Seven Days in May in our country now??
They got Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid also.
El Presidente asks the peoples to retrieve those illegal firearms you’ve been hiding from me and stand against the coup to preserve socialism and save my ass.
Our generals apparently now outflank Joe on the Left, if anything.
I’m not much aware of Bolivian goings on. I do know Bolivia has the greatest identified lithium resources in the world. That is CIA bait.
I suspect you have found significant misinformation about lithium mining. Perhaps some projects are as you say. However, deep green environmentalist lie a lot.
Here is an article with information about Salar de Uyuni from 2018. It appears there wasn't any significant lithium mining there up to that date. No mining appears to be going on there at present.
Perhaps you can share your sources showing "the complete ruination of the underground aquifer in Salar de Uyuni" when there isn't any significant mining going on there, and never has been, due to political opposition.
Hmmm...
Maybe they were just putting to much faith in the GPS of their mapping system...
“The environmental degradation from lithium mines is horrible in developing countries.”
depends upon whether the lithium is extracted from deep brine wells ...
