Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that if former President Donald Trump wins the election, Republicans “are coming after abortion, contraception and IVF in every single state in this country.”
Warren said, “We need three things. We need access to abortion. We need access to contraception, and we need access to IVF. The Republicans have blocked all three. They have laid out their plan to say they’re not going to permit women to have those three, and have access to them. The Democrats are fully on board. If we have the trifecta, the House, the Senate, and the White House, then we are going to make Roe v. Wade law of the land again. With Joe Biden in the presidency rather than Donald Trump, we will have as much protection for women as humanly possible.”

The problem with democrats is they thought they could ruin the economy and make people poorer and sail to victory on abortion. Women don’t like poverty Liz.
It is the economy, stupid. All the bullshat “bidenomics is great” smells to the everyday American.
Can’t afford rent, food, insurance, gasoline, heating and cooling, and an occaisonal vaca for the middle class people.
We aren’t lovin’ it, Lizzie. Even the beer prices have increased.
Trump needs to keep mentioning how Biden has cut medicare advantage back too.
Another Democrat criminal yelling that the sky is falling so she can continue her criminal actions.
Kittens and bunnies too.
They are already spreading the lie "Trump will cut social security" to seniors. How? Network media, social media, ads. AARP? Some seniors believe it.
If Democrats win, they’ll kill your babies, cut off your sex organs, impregnate males, and have illegals rape and kill you.
Go take a bath, stinky.
Trump should say Americans will have a choice with me:
The Needs of the Many Outweigh the Wants of the Few.
We will have a National Referendum on Abortions/Homosexual Conversions vs. Dental and Eye Care.
The funny thing is Americans have never been given a choice before.
Is Warren now identifying as a fertile woman?
Yes, expect this to be ramped up in fall advertising to get the suburban woman forget about crime and inflation.
I don’t understand the notion that people who favor life would oppose IVF. Nor how people who favor killing the unborn for any reason care.
Should be "Whomever" but whatever.
More importantly, they’re coming after your 1/250th% of native American blood droplet. Be afraid! Very afraid! They’re sending mosquitos!
“...to outlaw or prevent the distribution of Mifepristone...”
The two main used are mifepristone and misoprostol. But I think the main point is that terminating a pregnancy is now in the hands of the states and not the feds, as much as they would like it to be. And being closer to the people it places the decision at the right level no matter how it is made. There has become such a disconnect between the feds and the voters (people) that probably the less than can influence the decision the better it is.

LOL!
Honest Injun! :)
I am referring to the attempt of some medical professionals to make it illegal to distribute. SCOTUS slapped down one attempt.
We need access to abortion. We need access to contraception, and we need access to IVF.
= = =
Aren’t these mutually exclusive?
Contraception rules out need for abortion
Abortion is counter to IVF
IVF is only needed if some one wants an abortion, and can’t get pregnant naturally.
Even if contraception did not exist, that would not prove a "need" for abortion, unless the consequence of not aborting was death. Also, unless the method was abstinence, the pro-abortion faction would argue that some contraception methods are not totally effective.
Even abstinence can fail to prevent pregnancy in the case of rape. In that case, even red states have permitted abortions, and there is no law that is 100% agreed upon in that situation. And of course exceptions for rape can be abused by those who believe that lying about rape is justified. Sometimes the law produces unjust outcomes, in my opinion.
Yes.
I was making a general logical comparison of these “Woman’s Needs”, and that Warren is contradicting herself with her short statement.
(Oh, and I don’t think she will be needing any of the three needs.)
And at a deeper level, you are right.
Thanks. It’s difficult to write simple statements on this subject because there are so many possibilities. Feminists, or whatever they call themselves now, think about the uncertainty and worst cases of every path.
