DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. — A Douglas County judge was arrested at an Atlanta nightclub early Thursday morning, according to Fulton County Jail records.
Douglas County Judge Christina Peterson was charged with simple battery victim against a police officer at the Red Martini Restaurant and Lounge on Peachtree Street.
A police report said an off-duty Atlanta police officer was working at the bar when he saw a woman who was crying.
While the officer tried to speak with the woman, he was struck on the head by Peterson, according to an arrest report. It is unclear whether Peterson knew the woman who was crying.
Peterson did not identify herself and appeared to be under the influence, according to the arrest report.
Channel 2 Action News called Peterson’s office and was told that she was not in for work on Thursday.
Petersen was listed as having been released from the jail as of Thursday afternoon.

My sister married one of those rich Fulton guys who has been a seal/politician kinda guy but now retired maybe? lately he has been dissing our current resident on the super sly not sure why.
My sister has a strict no politics at any family anything at her house rule.
She is not qualified to be CFO of the Trump org despite previously being CFO of several fortune 100 companies on her own merits and despite dei, I do not think she wants more 80 hour weeks at this point.
