Israel’s power grid is vulnerable to a Hezbollah attack that could render it “uninhabitable” 72 hours later, Haaretz reported on 21 June.
According to the CEO of a company that manages and oversees Israel’s electrical systems on behalf of the government, Israel is entirely unprepared for a war with Hezbollah that would likely target the country’s power infrastructure.
“We are not ready for a real war. We live in a fantasy world, in my eyes,” said Shaul Goldstein, head of Noga – the Israel Independent System Operator.
Goldstein made the comments while speaking at a conference organized by The Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) in the southern city of Sderot. He said that Israel would be “uninhabitable” after 72 hours without power. “You look at all of our infrastructure, the optical fibers, the ports – and I won’t go into the sensitive things – we are not in a good place.”

What is the difference between an atom bomb and a nuclear bomb? Same thing. Fission or fusion, still nuclear.
Israel will issue simultaneously with its attack on Lebanon the warning that all Lebanese living south of the Litani River should immediately move north of that entity. They will be given 48 hours to move. Then all Hell breaks loose.
The primary difference is kiloton vs megaton.
they may think so, but if God wants Israel protected, the Hezzi’s don’t stand a chance.
Go God! All the glory is yours forever!
[We aren’t talking about Atom Bombs here you know. Yes, a NUCLEAR weapon used on Hezbollah will irradiate Israel. There is no question about that fact. The use of a nuclear device on Hezbollah will bring immediate retaliation from Iran and probably Turkey and Pakistan as well. A suicidal Israeli nuclear attack sets in motion a process of retaliation against Israel leaving them no option but total capitulation or implementation of the Samson Option which kills everyone in Israel.]
But the premise is silly. Israel’s not nuking Hezbollah. It would simply do to it what it did to Hamas - dehouse it. Israel will bomb every military structure Hezbollah had previously protected with a human shield. Civilian casualties will spike, Jew haters will cry genocide, Hezbollah will lose large numbers of people along with equipment and simmer down for a few years.
The long term solution is to do a reverse Muhammad - to conquer, kill irreconcileables and convert (the last because you can’t replace something with nothing). Without the stomach or inclination for that, all Israel can do is mow the grass at periodic intervals. In this round, it will likely crop a little closer to the ground, pour encourager les autres.
Between 1945 and 1998 there were over 2000 nuclear bombs exploded.
The yields differ greatly between fission and fusion weapons, but they are all nuclear bombs.
The whole of the middle east should be a radioactive wasteland.
I’m not ignoring the attempt to compare a 12 kiloton atomic bomb to a megaton device that could be used today. Anyone making foolish claims that fallout and blast would be similar is completely ill informed or just lying.
Who ever said they were the same yield? I was just correcting your terminology.

Utter tripe.
Really, who only cares about the electric grid when Hezbollah is raining thousands of missiles down on the entire genocidal regime?
Follow. The. Money.
If Israel is faced with annihilation what other choice would they have?
You’re a f’king idiot of the highest order. I had an exchange with you a while back regarding battlefield use of various tech, it’s clear you’ve never been in combat, never served a day in your life, never set foot in the theatres you opine about on here all day. You simp for filthy muj pigs. Death to all radical muj pigs and especially their Western enablers and allies.
You make not a single fact based point. Your goal is to only pester me with your diarrhea of mouth. Do us all a favor, go gargle some Imodium.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday said that Israel was prepared to pause fighting in Gaza for a partial deal in exchange for the return of a number of hostages held by Hamas, but insisted the war will not end until the terror group is destroyed.
Netanyahu also said the phase of intense fighting in the Gaza Strip was winding down as Israel increasingly readies for a potential flareup Lebanon’s Hezbollah intensifies its cross-border attacks on Israel, in his first interview with a Hebrew-language outlet since Hamas’s October 7 terror onslaught.
Asked whether he was prepared to reach an agreement with Hamas after the high-intensity phase of the conflict is over that would constitute a commitment to end the war, Netanyahu said: “No. I’m not prepared to end the war and leave Hamas in place. I am prepared to do a partial deal, that’s no secret, that would return some of the people to us.”
“But we are obligated to continue the fighting after a pause in order to complete our goal of destroying Hamas,” he told the right-wing Channel 14 program “The Patriots.” “I’m not prepared to give up on that.”
I’ve been practicing going up and down stairs in my building in pitch darkness for a couple of years now, in anticipation of a total blackout. Power grid shmower grid.
