Israel’s power grid is vulnerable to a Hezbollah attack that could render it “uninhabitable” 72 hours later, Haaretz reported on 21 June.
According to the CEO of a company that manages and oversees Israel’s electrical systems on behalf of the government, Israel is entirely unprepared for a war with Hezbollah that would likely target the country’s power infrastructure.
“We are not ready for a real war. We live in a fantasy world, in my eyes,” said Shaul Goldstein, head of Noga – the Israel Independent System Operator.
Goldstein made the comments while speaking at a conference organized by The Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) in the southern city of Sderot. He said that Israel would be “uninhabitable” after 72 hours without power. “You look at all of our infrastructure, the optical fibers, the ports – and I won’t go into the sensitive things – we are not in a good place.”

stop all the concern about the small percentage of innocent civilians that these Hezballah and PLO and Hamas and Abbas and Fatah all hide behind. They’ve all had PLENTY of time to move to safe harbors including their own home countries (Egypt, Arabia, etc.)
It needs to happen in Syria. In order for Damascus to cease to exist in one night, I would think they would have to use a nuke.

Anyhow, life expectancies at Nagasaki and Hiroshima are not materially different from other Japanese prefectures - low to mid-80s - despite these two areas being the only cities ever attacked with nuclear weapons, with what would be considered dirty, high-fallout warheads by today’s standards.

The ancient Israelites somehow managed to survive for hundreds of years in the Holy Land without electricity or a power grid and little or no social media. So not having them would not make the country “unhabitable.” Life might be a little more difficult, yes.
And then iran, Lebanon Syria and Egypt and the gest go along with it!

The “Samson Option.” Samson brought the Temple down killing himself and his adversaries. Never date a woman named Delilah. Today it would seem that Israel is Samson and Biden is Delilah.
Israel has nukes, we do not know how many. Some estimate around 200. They have never tested them. They work as they are our designs that have been tested and they work, but that is another story.
The Samson Option is if Israel falls she will launch the Nukes at her enemies and those that support her enemies. They will bring The Temple Down on themselves and foes. Israel has a triad of missiles and bombs. Air dropped, land based missiles, and sub launched missiles. You can take out the land and air systems but the subs you will not take out. If Israel falls, death will rise from the Mediterranean from submarines.
It eludes me in logic, why they attack Israel. If they win they will die.

Apart from an increase in cancer rates in people actually in the cities when the nukes were dropped, there were few post-blast effects on cities’ inhabitants. Nagasaki and Hiroshima have bigger populations than they did at detonation, and surrounding areas suffered no significant ill-effects. Life expectancy today is in line with the rest of Japan, in the 80s, and higher than most of the developed world.

We aren’t talking about Atom Bombs here you know. Yes, a NUCLEAR weapon used on Hezbollah will irradiate Israel. There is no question about that fact. The use of a nuclear device on Hezbollah will bring immediate retaliation from Iran and probably Turkey and Pakistan as well. A suicidal Israeli nuclear attack sets in motion a process of retaliation against Israel leaving them no option but total capitulation or implementation of the Samson Option which kills everyone in Israel.
