President Joe Biden's campaign tried to play pot, meet kettle on Thursday by highlighting some of former President Donald Trump's more awkward moments.
The @BidenHQ X account shared a nearly 2.5 minute-long video to counter a trio of 'cheap fake' videos where 81-year-old Biden appears to 'freeze' or wander away from world leaders.
At recent campaign stops, Trump, 78, has had a field day with these viral videos, knocking Biden for 'not knowing where the hell he is.'
'Here is a montage of Donald Trump getting confused, lost, wandering off, and waving to nobody,' the Biden campaign countered.
The clips show Trump, during his presidency, departing events before he's supposed to, or awkwardly standing in place when he's supposed to be exiting.
Argentine president left standing awkwardly after Trump wanders off,' read one headline after a mix-up at the 2018 G20.
In another video clip Trump's shown disembarking from Air Force One and ignoring the so-called Beast, the presidential limousine, which is right in front of him.
He walks away from the car - likely looking for Marine One, the presidential helicopter - only to be guided to the large black vehicle by an aide.
In other videos, Trump seemingly waves at people that are not there.
The 2024 race has long been a tussle over gaffes and stumbles, as Biden is the country's oldest president and Trump will be the oldest person ever sworn-in should he win a second, non-consecutive term in November.
Polling throughout this cycle has shown that Americans are more concerned about Biden's age than Trump's - something the Biden campaign hopes to remedy by showing that Trump is plagued by senior moments too.

The key moment starts at 6:50.
At 7:04, Bidet breaks away from the other leaders and the guy who just landed, and shuffles toward some other paratrooper to give him a thumbs-up.
At the 7:11 mark, one leader and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni realize Bidet is off, and at 7:18 Meloni pulls Bidet back to the group.
And if you watch the video in its entirety, you’ll see Bidet looking like an old man with dementia - mouth open more than closed.
I’d stack the campaign’s 2.5 min Trump hit piece against this full video of President Dementia any day.
This seems to be a pattern that Biden’s polling shows is sticking here’s the problem either he’s sharp as a tack like we where told in private or he’s fit to stand trial and lied to the special council. Joe will likely try to appear wide awake and alert…Trump should simply look over at Joe at the debate and ask when did you start as VP…if he answers correctly he lied to the special council and if he answers incorrectly he cleared has cognitive issues
Biden campaign releases cheap fake video?
For me, the thing that shows how out of it Joe is is his behavior toward young girls. Right out in the open, no hiding it, he can’t control himself and doesn’t even think he should.
Don’t believe your lying eyes.
“You may have seen it on live TV but it’s deep faked!” - the media when Biden zoning out is mentioned.
It appears the theme of the Biden campaign is “I know you are but what am I?”
“Now Joe, beep once for yes, twice for no”
This kind of tit for tat childish attempt to draw some sort of equivalence between Trump and a deeply mentally troubled Biden is really directed to the party faithful Biden supporters as comfort food. Everyone else, including independents and Republican anti Trumpers, even the low information folks among them, have eyes and won’t fall for it.
Trump’s campaign should just reupload to all social media accounts Biden’s “hairy legs” speech in its entirety without any editing, music, etc.
And super PACs should reserve time to run that entire “hairy legs” speech - again, no music, no commentary, no editing - as an ad over the air. That would be more expensive for a 1 minute ad but it would probably be very effective.
half of these clips are years old... feh
Another reason to vote Trump. Melinda Gates endorses Biden
