Exactly. Hope you weren’t in the upper valley like most Texans.

Everything west of the old Chinese restaurant is gone.

No, up in Camelot. Literally between the two fires.

If you need horse feed, freep mail me. I’ve got plenty and plenty of pasture in Martin and Reagan. Also Ft Davis if that is easier.

More worried about the Salt fire, too. Looks like South Fork is going north.

I understand all three fires to be arson — people forget the one we had two weeks ago just north.

I have a house there, too. Not excited by the idiots bringing up trivia in such a time as this.

Sorry to hear that about both of you..

I was just providing information on who Dirty Secret, or whatever his name is, had referenced. Like you I do not understand why he brought them up. My reasons for informing the person who started this thread, was to show that they certainly had no bearing to the thread that I could see.

BTW, dollars to donuts that these fires were set. Biden's military aged men he n has allowed in to create chaos?

That certainly wouldn't surprise me one bit. Another Maui response for the victims?

The closest he made it to was Baja, California in Northwest Mexico.

There are actually three fires (one out).

There is zero doubt in my mind that this was arson. Fire on a clear day? Firefighters swearing they smell kerosene? No electrical lines down?

Even Santa Fe news admits that Ruidoso is the “jewel of New Mexico”. Makes Aspen look like a dump, with a much better (ex military) airport and attractions like horse racing and skiing.

It’s been repeatedly eyed by the likes of Wynn and other huge Democrat elite developers who desperately want the common people out.

Lujan will make it impossible for common people to rebuild and then force sell it all to her buddy and pocket the delta.

I didn’t ping the list! Just saw a couple of names on a post.

I’ll get it. Watching KOAT 7 now, weather crazy in Ruidoso now. Estimate 2-3 inches rain from a thunderstorm on the burn scar area causing flooding. The storm is moving down along US 70 toward Roswell.

It actually makes sense that is it a man induced event, for it has the earmarks of being such. This nation is involved in an asymmetrical act of warfare, and people seem to be clueless as to what is really happening in this nation. Our leaders understand and are even involved in this attack against our nation.

Stay safe, and we will say prayers along with you that the loss can be limited in scope and devastation.

Tenochitlan (Mexico City today) is not in Northwest Mexico.

You might want to look up Cortez and the Aztecs.

That first and third photo are about a hundred yards from where my old house is / (was?). The guy who bought it sent me a note yesterday that the flames were 200 yards from the place when he finally ‘Bugged out’ (He is ‘an Officer of the Court’ who works with the police constantly, so they probably didn’t force him out when they ran off the rest of the peasants.)

The storm today actually came from the east (for a rarity) and the winds likely pushed the fire back towards the wilderness, rather than further through the town. I only got a light sprinkle so far (30 miles away), but I’m hoping Ruidoso got lots more rain. Listening to the scanner, no one has mentioned how much actually fell/ is falling. But on the bright side, it is supposed to rain intermittently for the next couple of days.

I hope Ruffian’s house stays safe, and any other FReeper from Ruidoso is safe, self and property. Glad I got the heck out of there, not that the new place is any safer from fire... In fact I’m only a mile away from where one of the most famous icons of forest fires in the world was found.

Yeah, I’ve been thinking arson / terrorism, or worse: like Lahania, Hawaii.

One of the more ‘tin-hatty’ podcasters on BitChute had a video up yesterday claiming his radar map showed DEW-like strikes on Ruidoso just before the fires started. I didn’t watch it because my internet is really bad since the fire started. But I’m kinda thinking of painting my roofs blue. (And I’m not sure if I’m joking or serious about that.).

But if it is ‘elites’ wanting to take over Ruidoso for their own, their plan has one flaw: They are destroying the old growth forest that made the Village of Ruidoso so beautiful and desirable.

How on Earth is that relevant to a fire in 2024?

The Mescalero should tell the BLA and BLM to pound cactus and do what they want.

“I have no idea who Coronado or DeSoto are”.

“How on Earth is that relevant to a fire in 2024”?

You tell me. You’re the one didn’t know who Coronado and DeSoto are. I simply posted who they were.
