Science Alert warned Monday “worsening human-induced climate change” is contributing to an increase in heat-related deaths as the United States languishes under a “heat dome.”
“Despite being preventable, the leading weather-related deaths in the US are caused by heat,” the article states, adding that heat-related deaths “are rising as heat waves like this one occur more regularly thanks to worsening human-induced climate change.”
“Extreme heat events are also increasing in their intensity and duration, bringing along greater fire danger too,” it contends, arguing that “millions are at risk” from the intense heat.

Impossible. I blame the Russians.
In the late 1960s I was a construction worker at West Point in upstate New York between college terms. The project was shut down about 5 times when the temperature went above 100 degrees. In 1969! Rarely gets that hot now. And heat waves are not more frequent.
Cold related deaths are 15 - 20 times higher than heat-related deaths.
Why didn’t the call it weather change ,LOL
it it’s human induced climate change, then, it’s incumbent on the left to not consume fossil-fuels in any form, but will they follow their own doctrine? Nope! Not at all.
If the climate change idiots comprise at least 20% of the worlds’ population, then, their staying away from fossil-fuels will go a long way towards eliminating the damage to the climate, and the planet would be free of harm forevermore.
But, the the hypocrites will never address the biggest consumers of fossil-fuels, that being China and India and a few others. If China and India were included in the climate change rhetoric of the climate crazies, then they’d have a better argument, but they won’t ever condemn China or India, which means that the argument is not about climate change, but about control of the economies and of people.
The most dangerous people in the world today, are the climate change radicals, but, governments need them in order to get control of all industries and all people.

Last 2 weeks, we had very cool temperatures. The next 2 weeks we have very warm temperatures. Then it goes to moderate. Then back up.
By the way. It’s summer.

Yesterday, the NWS had a freeze warning in effect for this morning in my area but they pulled it late afternoon. That was after the Red Flag warning which was in effect most of yesterday.
