I’m surprised the lake isn’t full of people in boats or canoes. It’s a pretty lake and you’ve had great weather for it.
But the lack of crowds is nice for you and Gizmo. :-)

Be extremely careful with this video. There are scenes in this video which some people would probably rate as being, "R" rated and may even consider the scenes to be, "X" rated. If you are a prude or if you do not like the partially-nude, female physique then I BEG you not to click on it, PLEASE? I'll even say, PRETTY PLEASE WITH SUGAR, WHIPPED CREAM, CRUSHED NUTS AND A CHERRY ON TOP!" Hispanic troops who would view this video would not consider it to be anything but a very good, danceable Salsa. The translation of the song name is, "The Body Of A Guitar!" That should clue you in as to the subject matter of the song. In the Hispanic world it is even considered to be cute and frivolous. That is because the singer chuckles in some parts of the video. ;-)This Video is, "Cuerpo De Guitarra," by Gabino Pampini, followed by the Normal Music List.

Peleliu: THEN & NOW
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vj1QTF2O-lI
Echoes of war in the Palau islands to the relics that stand in the jungles of Peleliu, this is a voyage into past & present, to a war that changed the world.
Comments below the video:
“My father’s baptism in fire was on Peleliu. He was wounded at Bloody Nose Ridge, had the shrapnel removed and finish the fight. He would later fight on Leyte and Okinawa and later was part of the security force in the Philippines after the war.”
“People these days literally don’t care about history. They have no idea what our grandparents and great grandparents fought for. So many things taken completely for granted. The people who fought this war are no longer here to share their story. We have only what they left behind to tell the tales. Thank you so much for sharing this story. Huge respect!”

Thanks for all your kind and thoughtful words, Kathy, both here, and in your other responses. (I often think you should pick all the songs to post, as you always pick the very best ones for any category! 🙂 )
Anyway, take care, and God bless!

Thank you I’m much better now. Now I’m just getting old.

Thanks, Kathy.
An old Irish blessing for you.
“May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life’s passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!”
