‘They Know That They’re Losing’: Anna Paulina Luna Claims Lawmakers ‘Hearing’ Biden Won’t Be Dem Nominee
Daily Caller ^ | June 14, 2024 | HAILEY GOMEZ - GENERAL ASSIGNMENT REPORTER

Posted on 06/14/2024 6:15:52 AM PDT by Red Badger

Republican Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna claimed Thursday on Fox News Capitol Hill lawmakers are “hearing” President Joe Biden won’t be the Democratic nominee come this November.

Luna appeared on “Jesse Watters Primetime” to discuss the recent meeting GOP lawmakers had with former President Donald Trump on Thursday morning. Fox host Jesse Watters asked Luna about the policies discussed in the closed door meeting, to which Luna revealed some of Trump’s ideas on foreign affairs.

“I think the number one issue that he has is, especially a concern for what’s happening right now with Russia, obviously.” Luna said. “There’s the media really silencing what’s happening with Russia — warships off the coast of Cuba and also Florida. But I think more importantly too he made it sure that the American people would know that what is currently happening in Ukraine and Israel would have never happened under him and he does have a plan and solution moving forward.”

“I also want to point out that he understands that world leaders respect him and right now with currently what’s coming out of the White House that, you know, a lot of people realize that Joe Biden is likely not going to be the nominee,” she continued. “Which is from what we’re hearing on Capitol Hill, Representative [Kevin] Kiley had reported that Kamala Harris [is] actually eyeing a run for California governor because of it.”

“Right, that’s the backup plan. So you are hearing also in D.C. that Joe Biden isn’t going to be the Democrat nominee?” Watters asked.

“Correct,” Luna responded. “It appears that our colleagues are trying to put guardrails on a 2024 presidential election with President Trump and also what you are seeing is according to our pulling, you know as well as I do that they have been trying to really paint Republicans as anti-woman and they’re trying to push an abortion crisis right now with the election and I don’t think that’s a case. A lot of the American people know that really this is a state rights decision and so I think that they know that they’re losing. It’s very evident at this point.”

Reports have circulated that top Democratic Party members are allegedly panicking over the chance that Biden may lose the 2024 election against Trump, according to Politico. Recent polling shows Trump has not only been leading against Biden in major key swing states, but is also polling well among key Democratic voting blocs. For example, in a recent New York Times/Siena College poll, Trump has narrowed his deficit against Biden, winning 20% of black voters despite Biden having won the voting bloc by over 60% in 2020.

She “goes” after she won all those primaries? Do you imagine that she “goes” quietly. She won her nomination every bit as much as Biden did. She’s the smartest and most capable person in the room. Just ask her. I don’t see her, a purportedly black woman, “going” quietly. She’s not popular here in CA. I don’t see a promise by the party to support her for governor being enough motivation, as there’s any number of hacks here who would run against her in the primary

I’d say their semi functioning insanity would be more of a problem.

No way for Hillary. It’s Obama’s people who have been running things behind the scenes since Obama was in office, both at the DNC, and within government. With Biden they had their dream puppet: put words on the teleprompter he obediently reads, put a pen in his hand and he signs. Replacing Biden, they are going to lose some of that power, but their puppet is breaking down in public, and will have to be replaced.

Biden can lose the election in Nov and still pardon his son prior to Trump taking office, IIRC, in Jan or Feb.

In my opinion: Newsome is a remote possibility, but I think he is further down the list. Things against him : he’s a white male, California will vote Democrat whoever runs, he still has half a brain and will not be as easy to control as the current puppet.

He will only leave if he decides to leave. Like him or hate him, he is still the President and has the final say bar a 25th Amendment situation.

Biden is getting so bad that he looks senile and clueless in even the limited, scripted public events that they allow him to attend. He won’t be able to debate Trump, even if they have him juiced up on amphetamines and other drugs.

The Dems want to avoid a 25th situation at all costs.

That would mean admitting they were lying all along, and it would raise Kamala to the Presidency, which they do not want. They would then have to run her in the General. They couldn’t dump her and lose the women’s and blacks’ votes, even if they don’t like her all that much.

Plus there’s Jill they will have to contend with. She will not go quietly. She enjoys being defacto POTUS.

The Dems are between a rock and a hard place, politically.

With a willing media, they were able to sell the Biden/Harris ticket, who couldn’t draw a crowd to fill a gymnasium. I think they can sell just about anything to their side in order to “defend democracy” as they say. I just think they will always try to make the ticket “historic” with a woman at the top, and they will want to include at least one minority, they might go with two as that would be “historic”, if they can lock in states with high electoral votes (via who they pick), that is even better.

Democratic foot soldiers will work for weeks to get the votes Joe Biden needs to win by all available means.

Turning out the vote is easier for Democrats because far more Democrats live in densely populated areas than Republicans.

Historic with a woman at the top would have to include either a woman as VP, or an minority at VP, since we have already had Hillary with a white male at VP.

Whatever Dem agrees to pardon Hunter. Joe will be hospitalized soon. PA or Michigan Governor. Or Hillary.

The Democrat Party changed their bylaws in 2022, so that once a nominee has accepted the nomination they can simply replace him at will for any reason should they drop out.

So they avoid a nasty primary by propping up Joe, he accepts the nomination at the convention and then he steps aside for whatever reason they want after.

This has been part of the plan, at least as an option from the start. The problem is who do they replace Biden with? And the convention isn’t until late August.

Leaving whoever steps in basically maybe 8-10 weeks to try to pull it together.

There are 2 problems with this action.

1) The Democrats don’t really have a superstar waiting in the wings that can step in.. the names they toss about, Newsome, Michelle, etc are all just laughable jokes. The party faithful will certainly vote for whoever the candidate is, but someone who’s going to really inspire and draw in the independents and motivate the base? No one really on deck.

RFK Jr, had the establishment not been so anti him because he attacks and understands the deep state, would have been a cake walk to the White House and I say that as a Trump supporter. So, he’s highly unlikely going to be it, so who?

The second problem is, simply time frame, 9 weeks or so is nothing.

So if they are going to replace Biden, they need to start pushing the alternative now, (actually should have been months ago) even while Biden’s still around.. So if this is the plan, then you should be seeing someone, anyone that they think they can replace him with, start to be all over the news, and talk shows, and various other circuits... running their campaign, while not “running their campaign”. So far I haven’t seem anything like this, but if this is their strategy keep an eye out, because it has to start now, they can’t wait until August, and they know it. They may wait to formally replace them in August, but they have to actually have them out campaigning now... and so far I see no one that’s filling that void.
