‘They Know That They’re Losing’: Anna Paulina Luna Claims Lawmakers ‘Hearing’ Biden Won’t Be Dem Nominee
Daily Caller ^ | June 14, 2024 | HAILEY GOMEZ - GENERAL ASSIGNMENT REPORTER

Posted on 06/14/2024 6:15:52 AM PDT by Red Badger

Republican Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna claimed Thursday on Fox News Capitol Hill lawmakers are “hearing” President Joe Biden won’t be the Democratic nominee come this November.

Luna appeared on “Jesse Watters Primetime” to discuss the recent meeting GOP lawmakers had with former President Donald Trump on Thursday morning. Fox host Jesse Watters asked Luna about the policies discussed in the closed door meeting, to which Luna revealed some of Trump’s ideas on foreign affairs.

“I think the number one issue that he has is, especially a concern for what’s happening right now with Russia, obviously.” Luna said. “There’s the media really silencing what’s happening with Russia — warships off the coast of Cuba and also Florida. But I think more importantly too he made it sure that the American people would know that what is currently happening in Ukraine and Israel would have never happened under him and he does have a plan and solution moving forward.”

“I also want to point out that he understands that world leaders respect him and right now with currently what’s coming out of the White House that, you know, a lot of people realize that Joe Biden is likely not going to be the nominee,” she continued. “Which is from what we’re hearing on Capitol Hill, Representative [Kevin] Kiley had reported that Kamala Harris [is] actually eyeing a run for California governor because of it.”

“Right, that’s the backup plan. So you are hearing also in D.C. that Joe Biden isn’t going to be the Democrat nominee?” Watters asked.

“Correct,” Luna responded. “It appears that our colleagues are trying to put guardrails on a 2024 presidential election with President Trump and also what you are seeing is according to our pulling, you know as well as I do that they have been trying to really paint Republicans as anti-woman and they’re trying to push an abortion crisis right now with the election and I don’t think that’s a case. A lot of the American people know that really this is a state rights decision and so I think that they know that they’re losing. It’s very evident at this point.”

Reports have circulated that top Democratic Party members are allegedly panicking over the chance that Biden may lose the 2024 election against Trump, according to Politico. Recent polling shows Trump has not only been leading against Biden in major key swing states, but is also polling well among key Democratic voting blocs. For example, in a recent New York Times/Siena College poll, Trump has narrowed his deficit against Biden, winning 20% of black voters despite Biden having won the voting bloc by over 60% in 2020.

Decent chance that neither presumed candidate will be in the November election.

He’s too arrogant to not run. The country be damned.

Therefore, the establishment has few options...which includes dear old Joe ‘succumbing to old age and passing quietly in his sleep’.

Good post. You may well be right.

There must be growing recognition amongst the Dems that Biden can’t win this thing. So they may just go into damage control mode and try to ride out the next four years and position themselves for a revival in 2028.

Even their lawfare has been unproductive, if not outright counter productive. That said, Trump’s upcoming sentencing still holds out a ray of hope for them. They desperately want him in jail and are banking on the presumed stigma it might place around Trump. Prolly not going to work, but its one of the last cards they have to play.

He’s too GUILTY to not run. And his entire family. The country be damned. He MUST run, to try and keep the power to keep his entire family and staff out of prison. If Trump wins, they ALL will be prosecuted.......................

They are not losing.

They know this is the time to replace with a bullet proof otherwise unelectable candidate who will be crowned at their convention and slide into the election.

A candidate that just has to be more acceptable than Trump. Nicer.

They have managed to sidestep all the graft Ukraine dealing with a simple firearms trial.

They are winning bigly.

How about the fact that she and Joe are the ones legally entitled to co troll the money that the Biden/Harris campaign (as opposed to the party or PACS) has raised, and the DNC cannot?

“That’s why now I think their plan is to go ahead and let him win this time, knowing they can tie his hands, and eventually drag him down.”

How is that possible when the deep state fascists are in prison or have fled the country?

The Commies knew exactly what they had in 2020 and pushed him over the line illegally (in my opinion) so they are stuck with him unless HE decides to quit or assumes ambient room temperature.

Yes he would in a 2 way race against Trump, RFK would win handily, don’t have to like it but it’s the truth.

RFK completely takes away Trump’s anti establishment narrative. Actually listen to RFK, his narrative is virtually the same as Trump’s.

The government should work for you but isn’t and I will make it again.

Sure RFK uses more intellectual terminology like “captive agencies”
And what not, vs Trumps “drain the swamp” but the message is the same.

RFK if he were the democrat nominee would have the democrat base solid and handily win the independents vs Trump, it wouldn’t even be close.

As long it’s the establishment vs Trump, trump owns the antiestablishment independents… RFK ends that solo track Trump now owns and RFK wins in a cakewalk

Make him a martyr? They won’t care. They want him dead. You presume the death would be traced to them. I’m sure it won’t be that easy. And if we can win both houses, the won’t drag down shite. THAT’s why they will try to Arkanside him if it comes to that.
