Is Congress's $17 million sexual misconduct hush money fund campaign finance violations?
Rep. Thomas Massie highlights that Congress's hush money payments would be considered campaign finance violations under Alvin Bragg's novel theory used to target President Trump.
"Congress has paid over $17 million in hush money for sexual misconduct inside of the offices in these buildings. And what's more, is that it was taxpayer money. The allegation is that President Trump paid $130,000 of his own money.
But here in Congress, there might be some here on this dais who had the taxpayer pay for their sexual misconduct charges. And I do know that not a single penny of it has been turned in as a campaign finance expense."
And be doubly sure to forward this to your family and friends who do not check the Citizens Free Press for stories like this.
It occurred to me a while back that the congressional hush money slush fund was the exact thing they charged Trump with.
It’s of no matter since we have a two-tiered justus system.
Odd that all the alternative news/media/podcasts don’t talk about this.
Now more than ever.
And, those scumbags used public money.
Hard to believe that Fitton and his team haven’t done more or maybe it’s a life threatening endeavor.
And the same people that did it to cover up, are continually re-elected by the masses.
And Congress exempts itself from FOIA. Amazing.
Just the fact that CONGRESS has a multi-million dollar “fund” - OUR TAX DOLLARS!!! - to shut people up about THEIR misdeeds and perversions?!?…
Is CRIMINAL as it gets! Hang them ALL!!!!!
Yes.
And didn’t NYC just convict Trump on that?
It's even worse, because those politicians used taxpayer money to pay off their accusers. Trump used his own money.
The NY state legislature has such a fund. They had some kind of payoff scandal some years back that I can’t find - the NY Senate’s second ranked? Or top aide? A black man and a Democrat.
The city offices almost certainly do as well...and this is taxpayer money. The taxpayer foots the coverup.
Probably a good portion is Biden and Teddy Kennedy

Bring it!!
I propose a Constitutional Amendment that prohibits the use of public funds from being used to settle private lawsuits against members of the House or Senate or any of their staff.
It could also require all assets of the above to be placed in a blind trust, and that there should be an annual account of the exact income and sources for all of them.
bttt
Once again they are guilty of the same when accusing others, only we are paying for thier deviance

Is Congress’s $17M tax-funded sexual misconduct
“hush money” fund a campaign-finance violation?

Former FEC Commissioner Trey Trainor explains that Alvin Bragg’s novel interpretation of the law does not align with “normal campaign finance law.”
Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey points out that the Trump verdict will likely be overturned after the 2024 election, citing constitutional violations, due process issues, and prosecutorial misconduct.
To which @RepThomasMassie responds, “The irony here is that
Bragg’s Trump trial was all about trying to influence the [2024] election.”
Yup. Legal precedent and all that...
Congress slush fund makes them more of a whore then the one’s they pay off they screw them and screw us to pay for it.
The MSM aren’t much better for not exposing names it’s not like they don’t know who does what in D.C..
