Masked anti-Israel protesters took over a New York City subway car on Monday and demanded to know if there were any “Zionists” on the train — then warned them: ‘This is your chance to get out.”
The sickening moment came after protesters rallied in Union Square Park in Manhattan and held up a banner that read “Long live October 7.”
One antisemitic demonstrator at the event yelled that he wished “Hitler was still here” to “wipe out” the Jews.
Later, the mob of protesters lit flares and waved flags associated with Hezbollah and Hamas in front of the Nova Music Festival Exhibition on Wall Street during an organized “citywide day of rage for Gaza.”

Last time I rode a subway train in NYC was in 1984. You could have fallen asleep in it with your wallet in your hands and not have ever lost it. A lot can change in forty years, it’s a lifetime. Like the difference between 1960 and 1920.

The last time I rode a NYC subway was February 2002. My boss took the company to NYC for a weekend trip. He thought it was out duty as Americans at the time. Six months after 9/11 the city was pretty much a ghost town on the weekends.
We were riding the train and were told by a middle aged Black man that we were on the wrong train. We needed to get off at the next stop because the one we were on would not stop again until Brooklyn on the weekends. We thanked him for helping us out. He thanked us for coming to the city. Even though we were a bunch of Red Sox fans.
I may never go to NYC again. The way it is today.
Good to continue to remind us all of those acts of infamy.

The CIC/CIA paid known Nazi war criminals to organize spy groups in Europe, and they lost control of them. They never even knew who half of them were, and many turned out to be SS, SA and former German policemen. I'm reading a book called "Fugitives: A History of Nazi Mercenaries During the Cold War" by Danny Orbach. Our government provided these Nazi groups with a lot of money, and got very little in return. We'll probably never know the truth about the damage they did in the aftermath of the war, nor if any of the intelligence they allegedly provided, ever bore fruit.
One thing I didn't know but should have suspected was that these same Nazi spies helped other Nazi war criminals to escape Germany, and several of them turned up in the Middle East, supplying Egypt and Syria with weapons to fight Israel.
The more I read the book, the more disgusted it makes me with our government. The FBI, CIA, etc., are all members of a criminal club, and do more damage than good.
