All of that was declared out of bounds (statute of limitations, etc.) and the only thing posible was this case. I think there are even some Dems who do not like the Biden Crime Empire.

I admit I’ve been pretty disinterested in Hunter Biden as such (just one more drug addict story), and also because I was certain “Joe Biden” would be removed as the candidate whatever happened to Hunter.

The two stories are starting to run together now, though. First - the government introduced the laptop as evidence. Why? Second - the laptop is the nexus for charges against “Joe Biden” AND “the big guy” (I’m sure the “big guy” isn’t Joe) for bribery.

Maybe it’s a coup. Not by Feds acting patriotically (don’t make me laugh) - but by a faction to put Newsom or Whitmer in the White House to lead the next steps in repression.

Interesting times.

Non-violent, 1st timer. He’ll get sentenced to court mandated drug screening as part of a probation deal on a suspended jail sentence of 3 months. Something like that.

Now Biden can’t use the “convicted felon” line on Trump at the debate, or it will be pointed right back at Biden’s son.

The jury was probably incensed by the presence of Jill and the rest of the Biden Crime Family who were there to intimidate them.

So maybe he will finally have to give up drugs.

“ How will they avoid Kamala?”

She has no base in the Democratic Party and black women hate her. Dropping her is the easiest thing the Democrats have to do this year.

I hope he is still held accountable for those. And I really would like to see focus on the Biden family corruption, bribes, such as Barisma and China.

Likely probation, doubt judge want’s to send Secret Service to jail. Assuming verdict survives several rounds of appeal. Most people would avoid jail over this, the felony conviction is adequate....

Agree. He may even just accept it and not appeal.

FTR, I called it as a hung jury.

Yes, and given his lack of acknowledging responsibility for such a clear violation, aka a plea bargain, he’d probably get jail time too. Maybe the judge will treat him like anyone else, appeals will last beyond the elections when Dad can pardon him.

It sure wasn't Jill.

Maybe, legal fees for multiple appeals are an issue, but I suspect not something he worries about. Rethinking my post as I wrote the last, remembering an appeal will last post election when Joe can pardon him, maybe the judge will sentence him like anyone else. After forcing a trial rather than acknowledging guilt, that might justify some jail time. I suppose it's not the judge's job to worry about the cost and inconvenience of secret service protection for an inmate.

I can’t see Democrats dropping Harris. They are stuck with the ugly duckling whether they wanted her or not.

There are people now serving time over these same exact charges...

Primarily where a perp pleads guilty to it as a "lesser charge" to avoid a " 'morer' charge."
