Former President Donald Trump ruffled some feathers in MAGA world on Sunday evening when he endorsed the leading GOP candidate for U.S. Senate in Nevada, retired Army Capt. Sam Brown.
“Sam Brown is a FEARLESS AMERICAN PATRIOT, a Purple Heart Recipient, who has proven he has the “PURE GRIT” and COURAGE to take on our Enemies, both Foreign and Domestic. Sam is now running for U.S. Senate in the Great State of Nevada, primarily because he knows that Crooked Joe Biden and the Radical Left are A THREAT TO DEMOCRACY,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social account, adding:
Our Country can no longer stand with this Corrupt and Incompetent “President” calling the shots. As your next Senator, Sam will fight tirelessly to secure our Border, end Migrant Crime, stop Inflation, grow our Economy, STRONGLY SUPPORT OUR GREAT MILITARY/VETS, protect our always under siege Second Amendment, and restore PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH
…I have gotten to know Sam and his beautiful wife, Amy, a U.S. Army First Lieutenant, and I know in this next chapter of their Life of Service together, they will continue to make us all proud. Sam has already proven his Love for our Country, being horrifically wounded, and making the Comeback of a Lifetime. Sam Brown has my Complete and Total Endorsement – HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!

I know you are a strong Trump supporter, but this is a hit piece and you know that. It's playing on what we all know, and that is Trump made mistakes. So, this piece is playing on that knowledge to make people think that Trump learned nothing from his past mistakes. Which of course in balderdash.
Besides that though, who else is there?
Brown is absolutely a squish, which sadly may be the best we can do as far as an “electable” Republican in Nevada. He has a lot of money (but Rosen has all the money in the world) and all the right squishy endorsements, while the others are supported by conservatives.
I’d love to see Marchant in the Senate because liberal heads would absolutely explode.
Gunter sounds like an authentic conservative, and unlike Marchant has at least SOME money to work with and some traction in the polls. He lacks name recognition compared to his 2 main GOP rivals, but if he wins the primary that shouldn’t be an issue any longer.
But still — this is Nevada. As with Oz in PA in 2022, the likely upshot of all of this is that Brown’s supporters will be able to console themselves on election night in November by claiming that the other Republicans would have lost to Rosen by even more.
It wouldn’t take very much of a “red” wave to topple Rosen, but Nevada is SO good at vote fraud that it’s going be pretty tough.
Lombardo was allowed to win a close contest in 2022 because Governor isn’t nearly as important as Senator and because Lombardo is a pliable squish. Marchant was NOT allowed to win a close election in 2022 because Secretary of State is more important than Governor (Don’t believe me? Ask George Soros.), and Marchant scares the hell out of the pinkos with his vow to clean up the elections in one of the most corrupt states in the country.
Can he win the general election or is he another Trump ass kisser that will win the primary due to the endorsement and then go down in flames in the general?
“I LOVE TRUMP—— BUT I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR BROWN.”
So you would rather see Rosen get 6 more years? I hope you are just talking about the primary.
Here we go again. Another one who will work behind Trump’s back.
I'll vote for Trump in November. But I do not owe that man my loyalty.
It's healthy to question his judgment because he made many mistakes in 2020 that led to Joe Biden becoming President.
*“I LOVE TRUMP—— BUT I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR BROWN.”*
*So you would rather see Rosen get 6 more years? I hope you are just talking about the primary.*
Same with Hogan.
What Trump sees? For starters West Point Ranger, Made Captain before getting flamed, Advertised platform is as solid as anybody’s?
How has Brown undermined Trump? I have no idea about this.
Nonsense.
Keep your enemies closer?
Ya, the following poster pretend to support Trump, but they are anti-Trumpers from way back:

yeah. His choices in endorsements and Personnel are literally causing and caused most of his issues the last 8 years.
Who did Trump listen to to make his choice? Did the selection come via Michael J. McDonald, state chair? I’m seeing question of Brown as a choice here in Nevada. One recommendation is Stephanie Phillips.
Haven’t we seen enough of these RINOS taking endorsements from DJT and shanking him in the back?
Good point!
Always consider the source.
Doesn’t matter what you nerds think. Sam Brown was up 40 points in the polls. He was already winning with or without a Trump endorsement.
📊 Nevada Senate GOP Primary (with leans)
• Sam Brown: 53% (+38)
• Jeff Gunter: 15%
• Jim Marchant: 9%
• Tony Grady: 5%@NoblePredictive | 6/4-5 | 424 LV | ±4.8%https://t.co/K9WpYlG3uB pic.twitter.com/OuavhT7yPF— InteractivePolls (@IAPolls2022) June 7, 2024
Donald trump loves to pick ‘winners’ so sometimes he bet on the sure thing, even if the guy/girl is horrible. i think the conservative factor only kicks in if the primary is very close.
