Dems ‘fear’ this possible Trump VP pick who ‘could spell the end for Biden’

The race to determine who will be Donald Trump’s running mate this November took a major step forward last week with the acceleration of vetting multiple potential candidates, but political insiders with deep knowledge of presidential campaigns say there is one possible name on the former president’s shortlist Democrats “fear” the most.

Trump’s campaign recently entered the next phase of the running mate search by requesting documents from several prospective contenders, including Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, who has grown to be a staunch ally of the former president since running against him in the 2016 Republican presidential primaries.

“Rubio is a familiar face who has become one of the strongest voices in the Senate for the America First agenda, is excellent on TV, and can blast Biden effectively for his failed policies,” one top GOP strategist told Fox News Digital.

I did not know that Hageman was considered by GWB for the Supreme Court. She is though really impressive.

It was another Harriett from TX whom GWB nominated and then had to withdraw her.

This happened with Bush/Cheney. It may or may not matter but to avoid the question entirely, one of them could move. I saw an interview with Rubio, he demurred on the question of his selection and said it was up to Trump not him, but he mentioned Cheney moving to Wyoming just to avoid the question. He also mentioned Hillary carpet bagging it to NY (and she did not invent that maneuver it’s been done for more than 100 years) to grab herself a senate seat. Rubio said he expected all kinds of shenanigans at the Electoral College meeting, but said this was a minor issue. One of the two could change residencies before January 7th. Trump likes Florida but he has at least a hotel in Vegas (maybe a house too?) he could make the top floors his personal residence. Or more likely Rubio would move.

My only articulable complaint about her is that she supported McCarthy right up until the last vote.

That said, nobody’s perfect, even my main man DJT.

The pit bull with iron jaws slammed university presidents on anti-semitism. She also spoke in Israel:

I agree that he’d be a good VP fr a candidate perspective. When he hits Biden on the border it carries a lot of weight especially because he was willing to do a pathway to citizenship before. He’s very good at explaining why this is substantially worst. He’s also shown that he’s willing to listen to the MAGA and America First perspectives though i wouldn’t consider him MAGA. The very fact that he’s a Senator helps with party unity. It’s also great that he was willing to vote against Mitch.

Better a righteous pagan than an apostate pervert.

That is an easy case to make.

Vivek’s bigger problem would be the contingency that views him as ineligible due to the Natural born citizenship arguments even though that has been a moot issue since at least Obama if not Kissinger as Secretary of state

Note I am not advocating for him just saying.

Really? Raise your hand is you will refuse to vote for Trump if Rubio is the VP? What’s that???? I see no hands.

He’d be a great choice, and it would drive the dems crazy.

They ARE afraid of Trump.

A member of the “gang of eight”. Isn’t that Rubio? This sounds more like a manipulation plan by the Democrats than an actual Trump VP plan. The left is not scared of Rubio. They own more than a little bit of him.

I heard Burghum speak. Articulate, quick thinker, smart as they come, blows opposition down. Like Vivek, but a white guy, which some people consider important.

I’d vote for Vivek for potus, but too many problems including some people are prejudiced against his color, his intelligence even. Dummies in both parties vote.

Trump can move back to NY. And if he has to meet with a probation officer regularly, that might actually make sense.

Points well taken. Huge Vance fan, but now my 1st choice vp candidate is Burghum. Had no clue who he was, than heard one speech he gave. Absolutely brilliant, charming, convincing, and clearly capable of being prez with his great record.

Ben Carson is extremely nice. However, when life-saving surgery needs to be done, put a scalpel in his hand. He can cut what needs cutting.
