A political commentator who’s repeatedly displayed antisemitic attitudes was finally fired from her gig on Thursday.
Upon being fired, commentator Briahna Joy Gray, a left-winger, blamed censorship for her termination from The Hill.
“It finally happened. The Hill has fired me,” she tweeted. “There should be no doubt that @RisingTheHill has a clear pattern of suppressing speech — particularly when it’s critical of the state of Israel.”
Her termination came two days after she rolled her eyes at the family member of an Israeli who’s currently being held hostage by Hamas.
The family member, Yarden Gonen, had simply asked at the end of an interview that Gray believe the already released hostages who’ve revealed Hamas raped them after being kidnapped.
In response, Gray sighed, rolled her eyes, and cut her off.

You actually waste time watching TV personalities like this? It’s called ‘programming’ for a reason. It’s all an act, all of it, even when you think they are being ‘fair’.

I actually don't watch much news outside of the financial news (I watch the markets more than politics). But I've seen some clips on YouTube that she was in, and she struck me as being more fair than most on the left. That's not saying much, I know, but it was the impression I got from her.
If you watch the rest of the interview, Gray “corrected” the interviewee, seeming to question that Hamas had carried out the atrocities that they did. She also mildly chastised Israeli’s for not holding Netanyahu responsible for the fact that there are still hostages, suggesting he’s the obstacle to a hostage deal being negotiated.
Just to follow up to my previous comment, I mentioned the context of the interview because Gray had been condescending throughout the interview, expressing skepticism that the atrocities took place so when the interviewee made that comment before the break, it was well deserved.
Okay, fair enough. I didn’t watch the whole interview, just the clip they showed on the link that was posted.
BTW, Gray has a history of engaging in anti-Israel activism while employed at the Hill. Have a look at this tweet from December of last year to get an idea of where she’s coming from.
Funny thing about the, “Usefull Idiots” a phrase coined by Vladimir Lenin, they are very outspoken and fervent in their beliefs. Thus, when Marxists take over, they are the first to the Gulag and or firing squad.
