Speaking at a Turning Point Action event on Thursday evening, 2024 GOP presumptive nominee Donald Trump announced that his campaign has raised $400 million since his conviction in New York City in late May.

Trump said that..."right after the announcement of this (verdict), more campaign funds were given to this campaign than any campaign they think in history, almost $400 million."

Small donations? Or large, well-off donors?
I gave $100 the day after the conviction. Going to give another $100.
We cannot spare this man. He fights.
Some judge is going to show up and express his opinion that Trump’s estimate is inflated and then charge Trump with a felony.
I am not a lawyer but my biggest fear is that at sentencing the judge is going to say he can not get financial gain from his crimes and must turn over moneys gain since his conviction.

A few very large donors ($100-200 million dollar range, I think) and a lot of small donors)
I think I am going to give smaller amounts multiple times to help pump up his “small donor” numbers.
I have donated at least half a dozen times to the Trump campaign but this was the first time I did not get back an acknowledgement. Their servers must be overwhelmed.

Biden will get a lot more than the $400 million, via free air time for Biden in left-wing TV and left-wing radio and left-wing newspapers and magazines. and left-wing web-sites (including Google and Tik-Tok and many more).
Trump has to pay for all the media coverage and media advertising, and that could eat up all the $400 million. Democrats and Biden get media coverage and advertising for free, which could be worth more than a billion dollars. Advantage (money-wise), democrats and Biden.
I heard someone, and I agree, Trump doesn’t need that level of funding needed just for candidates to become known by the voters. We’ve got us some good narratives up and running about corruption of the legal system and of Biden, and his ineptitude, and money is just needed to drive those points home
And what good is the free media going to do? Biden had that horrible scowl on his face for the entirety of his Normandy interview with the hack from ABC. As far as I’m concerned, the more exposure for him the better

It’s great that Trump-campaign has raised boatloads of money. But money, alone, doesn’t win elections. Hillary spent far more money than Trump did in 2016. If the money can be used to prevent Democrat electoral fraud, then it will have served a useful purpose.
Gee, and I heard a lefty lawyer on the radio brag about how much more money Biden has raised than Trump, including after the bogus conviction.
I have donated small amounts - wanted to right after the verdict but the server had crashed. Will donate again, and again.
Trump is our last, best hope.
I pity the fool who would attempt such a blatant campaign sabotage.
