NYPD to Revoke Donald Trump’s Concealed Carry Permit Because of Felony Convictions

The NYPD is preparing to revoke Donald Trump’s concealed carry permit following the numerous felony convictions handed down by the jury last week.

CNN reported the permit was actually suspended on April 1, 2023, following Trump’s indictment on various charges. The NYPD will now move beyond mere suspension, revoking the permit altogether.

The New York Times noted, “Under federal law and state law in New York and Florida, people with felony convictions are barred from possessing a firearm.”

A investigation into the matter is underway by the NYPD and it is anticipated that Trump’s permit will be revoked once it ends. However, Trump “has the right to file a challenge to the move.”
Trump is permitted to carry three specific handguns, two of which were surrendered to the NYPD on March 31, 2023. The third one was “was lawfully moved to Florida,” according to senior law enforcement official.

CBS News noted that Trump was convicted on 34 felony counts last week. Both his poll numbers and contributions to his campaign have risen since the convictions.

They are going to try to kill him. They aren't even trying to hide it.

I wonder if Hunter will get convicted on 34 weapons violations ?

He would do quite well in prison

When does Trump’s trial start for removing the mattress tag?

He’s not going back to New York when all this is over.

I’m doubly impressed that he HAS a CC in the first place!

My MAN! But, you’re right. Dangerous days ahead. Very. :(

White collar type crimes are an exception to the Federal infringement on the bearing of arms.

"felony littering"

This banana republic can jam its fake "legal system" up its own posterior.

“He’s not going back to New York when all this is over.”

He seems pretty positive that he can WIN New York state. I don’t doubt that everyone OUTSIDE of NYC will vote for him.

After he does, yank all of his businesses and do what he can for the surrounding STATE but not one DIME for that gawd-forsaken city!

His first day back in office he needs to sign National Concealed Carry Reciprocity into law. It’s long overdue and he is a supporter.

He [Hunter] would do quite well in prison

His dad, Ol' Rumpleforeskin, taught Beau and Hunter all about "hiding the salami" in the shower when they were young.

It's what the first wife was trying to save all the kids from.

There have been enough Big Business leaders who have said that they are done with New York that New York city will be finished, unless the current leadership is given an unceremonial boot.

For the 450 million fine, this is costing them billions in permanent lost revenue. In that sense, Trump won. That money is not coming back.

Just more petty, partisan posturing from these Marxist punks. As if Trump even needed to ‘concealed carry’. Puhleeeze.

He is not a convicted felon until sentence is passed.

Their current state governor ranks up there with the worst of the worst. She’s not doing New York State ANY favors.

I wish ALL successful businesses would head for the Heartland. Who doesn’t want to decrease overhead and have employees that actually give a rip about their everyday jobs and their communities?

Business 101. But, that falls on deaf ears with the current crop of brainwashed/woke CEOs. :(

And have a nice home within reasonable driving distance, instead across the river and 90 minutes.

I could never function in New York, to spend 3 hours of my day getting somewhere so I can eat or wash clothes as well as commute.

18 U.S.C. § 242

Deprivation of rights under the color of law.

Use that and go directly to the Supreme Court to get a stay on this stupidity.

I wonder if they ever tried this with all the 10’s of thousands of convicted felons in New York wandering around with guns?

It’s funny that Trump just didn’t throw his gun in the dumpster. I’m wating for “The Don”, a remake of the 44 automag into a”The Don, a 45 auto MAGANUM, that will make America shoot great again”. “ just imagine, the traditional 45 ACP ball bullet coming out of a resized 308 case and 9 inches of barrel, why Don Pendleton would approve. ( two Don’s for the price of one)
