The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is reportedly preparing to revoke former President Donald Trump’s license to carry a gun, a senior police told far-left CNN.
Trump’s New York concealed carry license was quietly suspended on April 1, 2023, following his indictment on sham charges in New York. Two of the three pistols he was licensed to carry were turned over to the NYPD on March 31, 2023. The third gun listed on Trump’s license was “lawfully moved to Florida,” according to the same source.
After Trump was convicted of 34 felonies on May 30, 2024, in made-up crimes, he could potentially be in violation of multiple state and federal laws if he still possesses that third gun in Florida.
Under federal law, specifically the Gun Control Act of 1968, it is illegal for anyone who has been convicted of a felony to own or possess a firearm or ammunition.

According to a law professor, Trump is not officially convicted until the Judge issues the final finding. In this case, Juan is expected to do that at sentencing. So this article may be a bit premature.

He needs to weaponize the FCC. First Amendment? [shrug] It's kind of like the Second Amendment. Meaning: If the government wants to stomp on you, it will.
Even then, if it’s in his Florida home, Melania or his son can own it. It’s no longer his.
There is zero federal requirement that nobody else in the family can own a gun, even the same one owned by the “felon”.
And in Florida, the transfer process is “here, it’s yours”.
If he goes to the range shooting it, then maybe. But this is going nowhere.

In Florida no need for an FFL. And there is no registration or paperwork required. Private sales are legal and undocumented.
Thanks. I remembered that there was some ruling like that. I can’t wait until Trump gets his revenge. And I hope that he goes for it based on legitimate legal means.
