To the surprise of absolutely nobody, The Late Show host Stephen Colbert returned on Monday night from a week’s break to noisily approve Donald Trump’s convictions last week on 34 felony counts in New York City.
Colbert stood and watched his in-studio audience chant of “Lock him up” as he scarcely concealed his undiluted glee at the judicial outcome dispensed in a Manhattan court.
Colbert began his monologue by addressing various details of the conviction, noting Trump won’t be sentenced until July 11 as he repeated the Democrat talking point labelling Trump as a “convicted felon.”

Colbert and his ilk live in Charleston SC. Fake South Carolinian. I was born and raised in SC. Living back in Myrtle Beach now. I would love to make the 2 hr drive down 17 to bash his face in just to knock that liberal smirk he always has on his face.

Before my time , but I recall hearing peoole enjoyed TV comedians such as Johnny Carson and Steve Allen. Those guys weren’t so political, and they took shots at both sides if they did make political jokes.

I guess Colbert and his audience have changed their minds and no longer think that jailing your political opponents is a bad thing. They think it’s just fine that we are becoming a banana republic. Yet another example of the arrogance, hypocrisy, and utter lack of standards of the left.
