The social media platform X has updated its policies to formally allow pornography on the site.
“We believe that users should be able to create, distribute, and consume material related to sexual themes as long as it is consensually produced and distributed,” the platform said in a recent update.
“Sexual expression, whether visual or written, can be a legitimate form of artistic expression,” it added. “We believe in the autonomy of adults to engage with and create content that reflects their own beliefs, desires, and experiences, including those related to sexuality.”

You see a lot more exposure than that in LGBTQ+ events, forced on the public. That should be banned. I'm talking not about topless nudity but porn activities in gay parades. Society is getting sicker due to liberal influences.
The Internet has come full circle back to Usenet. It’s the wild west once again.
FR is not free, in that sense of "free".
No argument from me there!
FR is private property. If, the Gods forbid, the Admins changed their tune on porn here tomorrow, that is their right.
Should a company be “free” to not want porn on their site?
X/Twitter is the private property of Elon Musk.
But that's not the point.
Please explain the following:
Free means free and some times that is tawdry and sordid... but it’s better than the alternative.
FR, not being free, is also free (different meaning of the word) of the truly tawdry and sordid. Gab is free, and thoroughly polluted with tawdry sordidness. Which is better? You say that being free to have tawdry sordidness is better than the alternative ... but FR is the alternative. I continue to read and post on FR; gab I rarely visit.
Oy vey! The Shill supports online porn. Remember Pizzagate?
“The social media platform X has updated its policies to formally allow pornography on the site.”
Sick
Internet...what to watch?
Politics? Most all lies.
Economics? Buy high?
Sports? Maybe, if one is ok with teams that are not racially representative of the US population.
Movies? Sure, if not already seen or (like most) are lame.
Porn? Well, is it honest and accurate?
Not a lot of choices that are not b.s.
World events?
Jews are good? Maybe not.
Muslims are good? Read their history.
*disappointing
Exactly. He seems to have fans here because he's wealthy and successful. Also because he talks in support of Trump now. But, he's never been a conservative himself. He admits he's always voted Democrat.
Twitter was better before he took over because the Left hung its dirty laundry for all to see there. They tweeted plenty of evidence of their crimes - riots and everything, even murders.
When Musk took over, the Left took their evidence and... left. I hope "X" doesn't become a porn site now.
I don’t use X. Just require a NSFW filter for pornography and have a setting (that is opt in) to automatically view such content. Everyone is happy then.
Elon is Libertarian so I’m less than shocked
😮
FR has it’s limits. I expect different things from FR than I do other sites and forums. There’s a reason I’ve been on here as long as I have.
Not sure why this is hard to understand.
bad move. Such content should have specific tags on it, and you should have to positively opt in to get it, as well as to disallow any such tagged content on your feed.
That is true. Almost every major technology jump happened with porn first.
Duh. That's the point. It has limits. It's not "free". It's an alternative to "free".
And yet you prefer FR. So do I.
Your comment: "Free means free and some times that is tawdry and sordid... but it’s better than the alternative contradicts that preference. It's simple logic.
"A > B" but "B = C" therefore "A > C"
Would you rather someone put a gun to your head and force you to one standard?
OR WOULD YOU RATHER BE FREE TO CHOOSE HOW TO RUN YOUR SITE?
Again, this is not rocket surgery unless you are just trying to start a fight. I have no time for such stupidity today.
