Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government begrudgingly accepted President Biden's plan for a cease-fire in Gaza on Sunday.
Biden had issued the plan on Friday, and Netanyahu initially responded with dismissal. Hamas has indicated it favors the plan, though no formal agreement has been made.
Ophir Falk, chief foreign policy advisor to Netanyahu described Biden's plan in an interview with the U.K.'s Sunday Times, saying it was "a deal we agreed to — it's not a good deal but we dearly want the hostages released, all of them."
"There are a lot of details to be worked out," he said, adding that Israel remains committed to "the release of the hostages and the destruction of Hamas as a genocidal terrorist organization."

At this point, Israel needs to decide if they want to survive as a nation. If no, then they need to emigrate to Argentina, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Yes, that’s it in a nutshell. It is infuriating that FJB & Co. didn’t agree to Israel utterly destroying Hamas and their ability to regroup, just the way we did to the warring governments of Japan and Germany after WW II.

And some half wit person (Biden) who is too senile to be held responsible for following basic security needs of the country he can’t control has come up with a plan he can’t enforce, can’t threaten anyone with, one his people can’t rewrite, but will continue on its course to no gain and the death of thousands before it’s over.
There is only one way to stop it: cut off their hamas’ safe haven having the people of Gaza do it by cutting off their food, power, all the comforts of home until they get hamas out of their country. If they refuse, they pay a price they determined they wanted to. Ball’s in their court.
Otherwise, this will pause long enough for hamas to resupply, and it will come right back just as it has since before the time of Christ. God left good and evil in the world. They haven’t left yet.

Yep. An alternate paradigm becomes plausible if one presumes that Israel controls Hamas, much like the FIB/CIA controls Antifah.

I’m agreeing with you. We had the will to utterly destroy the governments of Japan and Germany even though both held hostages and Jewish prisoners. We took the long view that the immediate possible loss of those lives was less important than completely destroying the old war-like regimes in both countries for the long-term benefit to mankind.
Today’s deal foisted on the Israelis by FJB lacks that long-term vision. It smacks of nothing but opportunism and an upcoming election ploy.
Prediction: Biden will get the Nobel Peace Prize this year, announced before the election.
