Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government begrudgingly accepted President Biden's plan for a cease-fire in Gaza on Sunday.
Biden had issued the plan on Friday, and Netanyahu initially responded with dismissal. Hamas has indicated it favors the plan, though no formal agreement has been made.
Ophir Falk, chief foreign policy advisor to Netanyahu described Biden's plan in an interview with the U.K.'s Sunday Times, saying it was "a deal we agreed to — it's not a good deal but we dearly want the hostages released, all of them."
"There are a lot of details to be worked out," he said, adding that Israel remains committed to "the release of the hostages and the destruction of Hamas as a genocidal terrorist organization."

Biden was in charge of the big money deal with Iran from the beginning, not Obama.
Iran bought Joe Biden decades ago and IT’S all about paying off his debt now.

Yawn......doesnt make any difference who’s president. America’s interests always come last.
Obama’s $38 billion Israeli deal that covered fiscal years 2019-2028 included:
<><>-annual US payments to Israel of $3.3 billion in “military financing,”
<><>-$500 million a year for Israel’s missile defense operations in the Negev, a foreign aid first,
<><>-A phasing-out of Israel’s decades-long “special arrangement”
<><>ie. Israel used 26.3% of US aid on its own global defense industry (not on US-made weapons).
<><>-Eliminates Israel using some 13% of US aid to buy military fuel.
<><>-will allow Israel to update “the lion’s share” of its fighter aircraft,
<><>includes purchasing additional F-35 Joint Strike Fighters.
<><>Israel is to initially receive thirty-three F-35 aircraft,
<><>the first two F-35’s will be delivered in December.
The (a) weaponry build-up from Obama 2018 into 2028, (b) follows the $30 billion weaponry deal Israel signed in 2007, which expires at the end of fiscal 2018, and (c) a systematic buildup of Israeli arms, like this one in 2015.

His point was that a lot of them are the same people.
Many are one and the same. For pure hard Leftist dedication it's really hard to surpass the Israelis Left.
For pure disconnected, disassociated political viciousness and nihilism, it's hard to beat the American Jewish Left.
These people take their Leftism very seriously the combination of the two makes for a really toxic mix, especially since many are dual citizens or Israelis who have a safe haven base in the US so they are insulated from the ultimate consequences of their political actions.
One major reason that Hamas was able pull of the Oct 7 attack was the general attitudes of the Left ranging from their bitter jihad against Netanyahu and pretty much everyone else in Israeli society who does not agree with their childishly extreme views to the incomparable stupidity and lack of awareness of the Leftist Re'im Kibbutz staging the Supernova music festival right on the Gaza border on the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War
How can such smart people believe such dumb things and do such stupid crap?
Me, too.
That’s why I cited the ‘money quote’ (the curious ‘interview’).
[DS at work?]
Israel didn’t have to take this, but they did. Quit taking US money and tell The admin to go to hell.
You can’t blame this all on one party. It took both to okay it.
THIS IS FALSE “NEWS” IMO.
BIBI would NEVER let ISRAEL DOWN.
Revered Rav Ovadia Yosef called for then-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to be struck down by illness after Israel’s withdrawal from the Gaza Strip in 2005. Sharon suffered a debilitating stroke in January 2006.
Fox is lying.
At the time, I didn't find what's cited below. But both before and now I would normally agree 100%:
A senior adviser to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed that while there is still work that needs to be done on a hostage release deal presented by US President Joe Biden, Israel has agreed to the framework.Senior Netanyahu adviser: Israel okayed Biden-touted hostage deal, but work needed“There are a lot of details to be worked out and that includes there will not be a permanent ceasefire until all our objectives are met,” Ophir Falk told Britain’s Sunday Times newspaper.
According to the report, Falk stressed that Israel was not rejecting the deal, which he characterized as “a deal we agreed to — it’s not a good deal but we dearly want the hostages released, all of them.”
But, echoing an earlier statement by Netanyahu, Falk added that Israel’s conditions to end the war in Gaza, sparked by Hamas’s October 7 massacre, “have not changed — the release of the hostages and the destruction of Hamas as a genocidal terrorist organization.”
Unresolved is whether the cited comments are in context with his actual statements made to the Sunday Times...
Frankly, this sounds as though they're playing the zero cabal with doublespeak: I see no softening of their stance on the destruction of hamas (yet). We shall see...
That “festival” was 1.8 km from the fence.
The GAE everywhere it goes pushes depravity in the faces of the people they are conquering.
I hope that the Israelis stay with their plan to exterminate Hamas!
(whispers to hidden mike): Not really.
Hamas: Ok, we agree.
(whispers to hidden mike): Not really.
My prediction: Biden is not going to like it when this flares up again before the election.
