If you think about it, isn’t a “humility parade” an oxymoron? I certainly understand the concept, but it’s like bragging about being humble.
No parades at all would be fine with me. If we needed a counter-parade, that’s a good challenge.

IMHO, not passing the Defense Of Marriage Act was a big fail. I’d like to see that come back to life, frankly.

Watermelon + salad
INGREDIENTS
* 4 cups cubed watermelon
* 1/2 English cucumber, cut into 1/4 inch half moons
* 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
* 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
* 2 tablespoons fresh mint, roughly chopped
* 1/4 cup lemon vinaigrette
* 😀👍😀 INSTRUCTIONS
1. Drizzle vinaigrette in bottom of a large canning jar. Layer with watermelon, cucumber, red onion, feta and mint.
2. Cover tightly with lid and shake to combine. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
* TIP: SUBSTITUTE GREEK DRESSING FOR LEMON VINAIGRETTE.

Yup. Totally unworkable, but how funny to contemplate.
I do not understand how sexual orientation is a point of pride — unless one is claiming it is a choice??? As if, for example, I could be proud of my freckles. Grateful to have them? Yes. But I didn’t work for them in any way.
Thinking about it, maybe not a humility parade, but a grateful parade!!!

Busy busy day here.
Right now, is the BEST I have felt in the EIGHT long months it took to get in there!
A little sore from the back injections-but NO PAIN!!!
I’m not going to lie, the injections hurt like an S.O.B.
The worst one was the “kill shot” to burn that nerve.
Oh. My. God.
Luckily, it didn’t last for long.
After 3 of those on that side he went to the other..
EEEE-FREAKIN-YEOWWW!!!!
But you know what? It was SO worth it!!!
They called and asked us if there was any way for us to get there early, as they had a cancellation.
I should have made them wait! LOL
We got there early, and had the whole rest of the day.
I was beat, so after a nice brunch courtesy of Mr. B. I took a nice nap!
All is well, and thank you so much for your love and support!

A Grateful to God Parade is a good idea! I think that used to be the Thanksgiving Parade, but didn’t the alphabet mafia take that over as well? Maybe I’m thinking St. Patrick’s Parade. Who knows....they’re everywhere, spreading their debauchery.
