Does 12:00PM mean NOON, or does it mean MIDNIGHT?
That is the question.

I went through all that pain of them
shoving needles in my back to “burn”
that nerve-it was an excruciating thing to go through...
That was on June 7th.
Here we are 12 days later-and when
I woke up this morning, my back was ON FIRE!
I am so disheartened right now..
So I HAD to take my really strong meds, and hubby drove me to my appointment.
My PCP was very sympathetic, and said sometimes it helps, and sometimes not...
It HAS helped me somewhat, but I never expected it to get this bad, this fast!
It was so bad later today, I had to take another one this evening.
The only other thing that was really more annoying then bad,
is that the lab I went to for blood work hasn’t sent the results to my Doc!
I had that blood work set up for the 5th of June,
then they claimed they didn’t have the orders from my Doc.
So had to call my Doc and ask them to RESEND the orders,
and I HAD TO RESCHEDULE that blood work for the 9th.
So I had to fast AGAIN!
So today mt Doc says, “Did you get your blood work done?”
I said “Yes, I had it done on the 9th!”
They have NOT sent him the results of my blood work!
I thought the top pf my head would come off!!!!!
Other than THAT, the other tests all came back good!
I have now lost 12 lbs on the keto diet and intermittent fasting!

The main weakness of the 12-hour system is a widespread confusion about which abbreviation should be used for noon and midnight: neither moment can logically be identified as before noon (am) or after noon (pm). For example, the moment of midnight occurs precisely 12 hours after noon on the previous day and 12 hours before noon on the following day.
However, most digital clocks and most sources, including timeanddate.com, designate midnight as 12 am and noon as 12 pm. Although the precise moment of noon falls in neither category, the hour succeeding it, from 12:00:01 to 12:59:59, is clearly after noon.
It confused the heck out of me, when I was doing payroll, and first learning Military Time!

Oh, man! I am so so sorry. Wow! That has been basically no help at all for the relief to have lasted less than 2 weeks. I also have no more generosity for lab work to take that long. Yes, it should be back at the doc’s office so you can proceed. I don’t think they take into consideration that they work with real human beings.
I experience this a lot with my blood work. If it isn’t kept warm, my red cells clump and then dissolve. There is no reading and it has to be done again. I remind techs about this all the time, because it doesn’t hurt them to goof it, but I am the one stuck and restuck and it dadgum hurts.
I am sorry you have needed your pain meds again. They help, not completely, and leave you a bit muddled while they mask the pain you feel. At least that is my experience. I look over my schedule and make sure I don’t have to drive for 12 hours after I take them. But, they do help a little.
The upshot is, my luggage MIGHT get here tomorrow! Ha! I am so glad that I put a pair of shorts and a tee shirt in my carry-on. I also had ordered a new nightgown waiting for me here as well as an old bathrobe. My kids had wanted me to throw it away, but that bathrobe has become quite valuable since I’ve landed. The washing machine has had a bit of a workout, too.

Can it be a temporary thing? Can you get the procedure redone? I’m thinking they didn’t burn off as much as they should have. I feel so badly for you....and after enjoying a pain-free few days. Please keep us posted.
