Hi Jim!

How goes the battle. Getting closer and closer to election....I wonder what evil the dems will come up with this time. I hope you’re keeping well, all things considered.

What is that first dessert called, the “berry cake” dessert?

I'm having fun with the vanilla bean paste I got from Trader Joe's. It was only $5 a jar, and extract is a lot more of these days. I expected it to be a lesser quality but it is delicious, but the best thing about it is all the little flecks of vanilla bean. It looked really pretty in some cream cheese frosting and today I made keto cheesecakes and kept adding it until I thought the flecks were prominent enough. We'll see if that affects the taste too much.

I think it was a purple velvet cake, but yes the berries really set it off!

So true. It’s almost impossible to add too much vanilla. Plus there’s no shortage of beaver butts to produce more lololo. Sorry to bring that up!

You’re bound and determined to interfere with the Train Dessert Experience, I see!! LOL

You might need to be asked to spend some time in the caboose, alone. I will bring you dessert though. I’ll slide it through the little hole in the bottom of the door.

Natalie made up a big batch of these today, and I got a couple for dinner. They were unbelievable. Too much fussin’ for me to bother making, but boy were they good.

Well that’s mighty kind of you. I don’t mind it in the caboose. IIRC, that’s where we store the fine wines, isn’t it?

“that’s where we store the fine wines, isn’t it?”

LOL, I think that’s the spot since we had to give up The Wine Cellar because we move around too much. I believe the wine IV is hanging around there somewhere too.

Sometimes a facility built by one administration for a certain purpose can be repurposed by a later administration.
