Thank you, Jem! Very handy.
Hugh Hewitt called him The Wanderer In Chief this morning.
“My tongue was the size of a baseball and my whole head and neck swelled up so much I was unrecognizable and went into respiratory failure.”
How terrifying! Do you remember it?
“It seems the health insurance should cover it, as it was a medical procedure that resulted in the damage, although nobody’s fault
Somehow I’m thinking the hospital should cover it. Since they caused it. But I know if that was the case they would quit doing risky things if it cost them money. So that’s a hard one. But it’s awful that you’re left holding the bag.
I get $20 of quarters each time at laundromat. Those empty script containers are great
Hi Dolly! Did you get all of your work done? I hope your back is doing ok.

Hi Sissyjane! Here things going okay “considering “
Am ready to go out and spread mulch

Are you still in Calif?
Black Dragon Rose
You are so welcome. Finally, it seems like forever, but it really has only been a few days, things have started coming into place. The report on my luggage is that it made it to Atlanta. The airline has shipped it to this house and I should have it before the day ends.
Second, I have received my handicapped parking permission. That’s done. Now, I can park in the good spots.
Third, you may remember, my laptop died in March. A ministry partner bought me a new one and it was supposed to be hand carried to me. Only they forgot it. So, their house sitter shipped me the computer. But, when I opened it Tuesday, it was a beat up old yucky computer. I was sick.
What had happened? To cut to the end of the story, the correct (we think) laptop has been located and will be sent to me. I could not imagine what I would tell my partner — that his $2000 ministry gift had disappeared somewhere?
In the meantime, my Dad is letting me borrow one of his machines.
Yesterday, just after I purchased a modem for the house, I got in my car, turned the key and all the electricity died. I then went back in the store, received permission to leave my car where it was and went back out to begin the next phase. I called a few people for help. The third call hit pay dirt! My friend would pick me up and take me home. Then, I would get in touch with my mechanics and they could get the car and fix it!
But, my friend called her husband. It turned out he was at a restaurant nearby at a men’s Bible study. He and another friend left the study and found me. The friend asked me to pop the hood. He literally tapped on one of the battery posts. I tried the car again and it worked.
They went back to the study and I went home. My nephew has fixed the bad clamp.
I’ve been in a lot of pain with this bum knee of mine. I’m fixin’ to head to McAllister’s Deli and get a chef salad to bring back home and await the arrival on my luggage. My dresses, my jeans, my Bali Batik duffal bag are all in that luggage.
Good to hear from you Dolly!
Yes, I plan on moving to Wisconsin permanently. But if TSHTF I might have to escape back to Texas safety, lol.
Yes, it’s very pretty in Sheboygan. I’ll enjoy cooler summers, not so sure about the winters. I sure do miss Proby, I hope he’ll be glad to see me.
I tried cheese curds a few times I was up there, something about the consistency was off for me, but I’ll probably try again once more as I am a cheese fanatic. I’m already missing Texas food and I’m not gone yet!
How are you doing? Are you still in NC with your son? How’s your health?
>>>>>Hi Dolly! Did you get all of your work done? I hope your back is doing ?
Well I got 4 of 10 bags of mulch spread. Lugging the bags around was the hardest part. But the truck dolly that I bought last weekend at a yard sale for $10 really made the job much easier.
I am tired but the reason I stopped is I am incredibly hot. Not as in HOT BABE HOT. Sweating hot
I have a T-shirt on and a pair of cotton Long pants they are both just soaked . So I’m on the back deck going to call it a night. Maybe I’ll do some more tomorrow evening
in the morning I have the Republican men’s meeting they meet the third Saturday of the month at the local fire station which is a really nice meeting room and they always invite the affiliated women’s group to attend it’s breakfast in a program of sorts
I’ve only had cheese curds once! That was at Curlys! Several years ago. I have nothing to compare . Was recommended to me by FReeper Mozart Lover. I was in Wisconsin that time to hear her play for Phantom of the Opera at the college where she taught
Ha! In California everyone I knew always wanted to go eat sushi. I tried several types of sushi but something about the consistency I don’t like about it either. If we went to a restaurant that also served teriyaki I’d just eat that.
I don’t consider myself a picky eater and will always try things, but I guess we all have our food preferences. I like food that has been prepared with spices the best. Your recipes always sound good because you use a variety of spice.
I’ve been eating a lot more sweets than normal. I found out that opioid use causes sugar cravings so I guess that explains it. I will be glad when I can get off of them.
Have fun at the breakfast! And maybe take it easy with that mulch....it can wait a day or two. You don’t want to do damage to that back of yours.
Wow. That’s a pretty busy few days! Glad the issues are being resolved....very frustrating when things continue to go wrong! Let us know when your luggage comes home to mama!
So listening to this it gave me hope that even in impossible situations, the good guys can win. Great interview
President Nayib Bukele saved El Salvador. He may have the blueprint for saving the world.
I watched that the other day, norsky. It is a very good interview. I marveled at the difference in demeanor between Bukele, and Milei, of Argentina. I like them both, but Bukele displays such a humble, Godly spirit, unlike Mieli. Much wisdom in Bukele.
That man does not look 78! He has the energy of a much younger man also.
