That’s a beautiful testimony of being touched by God. You spiritual conversion more or less. I know many people who are intellectually Christian. They know a lot but never really had the moment of conviction/ conversion
That was actually me. Brought up in denominational church. Went every Sunday. Sang in choir. Wasn’t til I was 27 I had THE MOMENT..was baptized in Gulf of Mexico. I then devoured scripture and got every study aid I knew of.

Giving up things you love do for medical situations is so sad. For me is was intense outdoor activities, biking, rough terrain hiking, kayaking, x-skiing

Such hypocrisy. And I’m wondering why is Trump in trouble even if there was something done wrong, it was his accountant that did it. Nobody expects a billionaire to oversee every detail of their businesses, they wouldn’t have time.
Many young people do not even know that we fought the British in the revolutionary war. Obama was an anti-colonialist and let people think that we were a colonial power. How many young people think we went around the world colonizing places instead of the fact that we were colonies before the Revolutionary War.
The left has been teaching that America is an oppressor nation since the 1980s. They are so dishonest.

I didn’t consider that. This is certainly depressing. The left can do anything they want to try to stymie his campaigning. And the debates.
And good grief, their psychiatrists could come up with anything they tell them to. Although I think that might be a little difficult to swing considering who they have running.

You have a way with words. I didn’t think I could become hopeful again but you did it.
It wasn't until I was in my thirties and became familiar with chamber music that I finally developed an ear for proper expression and technique. But I wasn't in the position of getting back into piano until I was well into my sixties, and that's when my eyesight began to dim.
One of my favorite memories was an evening at a friend's house in 1976 where one of the guests, who was a lyric soprano, brought some of her sheet music of art songs. The host had a grand piano, but he wasn't good at sight reading. I sat down and accompanied her in songs by Samuel Barber, Rossini, Johann Strauss II and Schubert. It was one of my best nights.

If things are going right, we Christians are converted often (from dead works to the Living God). Abraham built an altar every time he had a life-changing encounter with God. Us too.
I had accepted Jesus about a month earlier, but this was certainly another life-changing encounter with the Lord, one of many actually.
You know, Israel went through the Red Sea and was delivered from Pharaoh and Egypt, which is symbolic of being born again. The biggest deal in Heaven and Earth is being born again, saved for Heaven forever. It is what Jesus, the very Son of God died to freely give us.
But being delivered from Egypt was only the beginning for Israel, as being born again is only a beginning for us. Like Israel, we have a Promised Land of Rest and Victory to attain, enter into, conquer, and enjoy. Unfortunately, most of Israel missed it dying in the desert. True with so many Christians as well. Let’s “apprehend that for which we are apprehended” (Philippians 3:12). Temporal AND eternal rewards await. Thank you Jesus.

House Dem wants Gov. Hochul to pardon Trump ‘for the good of the country’

A Democratic congressman has publicly called on Gov. Hochul to pardon former President Donald Trump after he was found guilty this week of falsifying business records — for the sake of the nation.
Rep. Dean Phillips (D-Minn.) said a Trump conviction only helps his campaign.
“Donald Trump is a serial liar, cheater, and philanderer, a six-time declarer of corporate bankruptcy, an instigator of insurrection, and a convicted felon who thrives on portraying himself as a victim. @GovKathyHochul should pardon him for the good of the country,” Phillips declared in a X post Friday.

Not being even a smidge musically inclined, you have no idea how much people like me envy you folk with talent. I am so appreciative of anyone with musical gifts.....along with artistic gifts as well. All I can do is the black and white stuff....keep the books, cook, clean up, and organize. Oh, can I organize! Lol it paid very well when companies needed someone to keep production running smoothly! Not beautiful or exciting like art or music.
