Democrat Party operative joesbucks continues the celebration, ignoring the fact that his Democrat Party just blew up the American legal system.

Your “wetback cur” Merchan has no idea what he’s done - and neither do you.

Not the first time I’ve heard this. I recall lots of criticism early on and often about the lawyers Trump picks.

What is important now, whether he keeps his attorneys or hires new ones, is that he picks winners. And as this is now going to appellet and maybe Supreme Court, it is likely to be new attorneys.

Fire them and replace them with...who? Who will defend a man that the regime has marked for suppression? The regime has made it clear that anyone who defends him also be suppressed.

This is how the Third World behaves. We are a nation run by gangsters.

Really? The Columbian continually shutdown the defense. How would a different lawyer have affected the outcome?

Maybe smart guys Jonathan Turley and Alan Dershowitz should volunteer to represent Trump on the appeal.

They seem to think they know better. I say those two need to put up or shut up.

No Trump lawyer stood a chance in that courtroom circus.

This is the same dope who was claiming yesterday that the judge was going to replace a holdout juror.

There's no evidence that there even WAS a holdout juror.

Didn’t matter how good or bad Trump’s lawyers were. The trial was rigged by the corrupt judge and biased jury from the get go.

Dershowitz is full of it.

Trump's lawyers did a very good job working in a highly unfair forum with a cheery picked corrupt Judge who was in the tank with a conspiracy to rail road Trump.

The jury was either similarly in the tank to convict Trump or they were so biased that they were going to convict Trump no matter what.

The two lawyers would never work again in NYC if there was hung jury and the rest of the jurors would be ostracized if they held out on a conviction.

Most have dreams of lucrative book deals recounting how they got Trump and they may have been noticed of potential book deals before the trial even started.

Conviction was a foregone conclusion before the trial even started. Any false hope that there might be a hung jury was due to the insane trial and the fact that any normal person could not in their wildest dream believe any self respecting juror would convict on the case the prosecution presented.

As it is, this trial is and always has been a bad joke and a side show to the more serious litigation in the SCOTUS and in the Florida trial. The Bragg Case pretty much validates all the concerns about potential political prosecutions by political enemies raised with and by SCOTUS and I think it is safe to speculate that this fact was not lost on Trump's lawyers. .

Allan is a joke like Woody Allen. The primary force in his soul is to be with his tribe in Martha’s Vineyard. The rest is just fun time and footnotes.

Who knows. But it is true, that issues must be preserved for appeal. On appeal, the lawyer has to do much more than show the judge/jury got it wrong. They must show not only legal error, but also that timely objections were made.

Lawyers didn’t matter. The outcome was predetermined.

IMHO, criminal defense lawyers tended to be the weakest kind of lawyer. Most of them specialize in plea bargains, and few want to fight for their client at the risk of annoying the judge. The judge will remember an attorney who is a PITA in the next case before that judge. In this case the witnesses against a POTUS were a convicted perjurer and a porn star/prostitute. I would fire the lawyers just because of that. Dunno if the expert witness needed to testify on the law, because it is the law, not a fact in the case.
