Maybe they will bring Dan Rather out of retirement to break this huge story! Once the story is proved false, he can claim it was "fake but accurate".

Prosecutors entered earlier.

Justice Merchan announces he will excuse the jury for the day.

Well it looks like that’s a wrap on day 2 of deliberations, Jury must still be a long way from a verdict, if they thought they could reach a decision in the next hour or two, the Judge likely would have let them power on through instead of dismissing them for the day.

That reminds me of all the stories on Free Republic a decade ago about "Chief Editor Korir" from the "African Press International" who claimed to have a recording of Michelle Obama saying some untoward things. He was in "negotiations" with media outlets for some time before the whole story collapsed.

I think the lawyers are there to monitor for jury nullification. I suspect they are the eyes and ears of the judge.

I’m interceding for them in prayer, asking GOD in Jesus’ Name to send His Holy Spirit to each juror and strengthen them and guide them into TRUTH. The Lord is enthroned on twin pillars of justice and righteousness — and he HATES unjust judgment.

I believe in faith that the bold intercession of Christians for the jurors is working to INFLUENCE them, and I pray you’ll join us! Maybe you already have...?
