Deliberations resume this morning, after Merchan rereads instructions back to the jurors. Thoughts?
If the juror who is going against the current is a female, she won’t give in! You know how women are stubborn as heck! If they don’t reach a verdict today, I can guarantee you the crooked corrupt Colombian immigrant judge will replace the juror in a heartbeat. But ( God willing ) if it’s three against 9 then the corrupt judge has a very HUGE problem! Hung jury?
Merchan only told the jurors that they could not infer guilt on the defendant’s part from Cohen’s conviction on campaign finance violations. Merchan barred Brad Smith from testifying.
That’s an excellent observation. He may not blame them, but I’m sure the MSM will say something how the jury was too stupid to memorize and comprehend all 53 pages of confusingly and overly complex jury instructions.
What about the presumption of innocence? The jurors are to simply presume that Trump is guilty of those "unlawful means?"

You’re referring to the guy prosecuted criminally over a common benefit’s taxability dispute? Where normally if it is determined to be a taxable benefit, they charge the taxes and interest, and move on - but here prosecuted and sent him to prison?

FTR, neither have I! But appraisals, charged estimates, tax prep, court fees (as in filing fees in small claims), etc. are what I meant.
