NBC News reporter Dasha Burns was taken by surprise by her interviews of Black and Latino supporters at former President Donald Trump's campaign rally in the Bronx on Thursday.
The MSNBC reporter expressed her disbelief to host Ana Cabrera that immigrants would actually back Trump and his immigration policies.
"Well, this might sound a little counterintuitive, but I did talk to folks in that crowd who themselves were immigrants, a lot of folks from the Dominican Republic. A lot of the people that I talked to were born and raised in the Bronx. For some of them, this was their first-ever Trump event," she said.
"When you talk to immigrants going to these Trump rallies, they agree with his message on immigration," she continued. "Their point is, 'I did it the right way, I came here legally,' and especially those living in New York right now, the sentiment I heard from a lot of voters, was, you know, 'We have these immigrants right now that the city is taking care of in a way I've never felt taken care of by this city'."
"It was a large crowd and a diverse crowd," she added. "Yes, there were people from Westchester and New Jersey, but there were a lot of people there from the Bronx, black and Latino voters that are sick of how much they're paying for gas and groceries, that are frustrated with the situation at the border, and that find President Biden's rhetoric when it comes to minority voters a little bit offensive."

BRONX TRUMP RALLY ATTENDEE: Biden went on Charlemagne Tha God's and said you ain't black if you don't vote for him. I'm black because that's how I was born and what I am, and Trump is the man that can save this country.
"A little bit offensive." Here is a walk down memory lane on Biden's racially inflammatory statements for Ms. Burns.
Ms. Burns then provided some "analysis" of her interaction with the Trump supporters.
She noted:
So interesting to talk to those voters, and multiple people actually mentioned that Charlamagne tha God interview. I did press back with some of those folks, mentioning some of Trump's rhetoric that's seen as racist and bigoted.
But the folks "said they don't have a problem with that. They view his actions over his words in terms of what they feel he can do for their community. Again, the economy, those pocketbook issues over and over again top of the list," she said.
How was she allowed to say all this on MSNBC? Who dropped the ball?
I would imagine that all those people risking their lives and their children’s lives to flee to America...they have a better intuition of when they’re being used than probably...serious now...than most Americans do. How beautiful would it be to see them turn to NON RACIST Trump for hope of a better future.
Because the racism card is marked, and folks recognize it for what it is from the back side.
They’re shocked because they are hopelessly out of touch with reality.
People aren’t reacting in the way the left thinks they should be. The left does not deal with reality. They deal with their idea of what reality should be.
I mean, it is just so unbelievable that any reasonable person would oppose allowing terrorists, drug dealers, violent gangs, sex slave trade, etc. to just freely flow across the border. < / s >

It was wonderful that the Bronx crowd knew the cues to chant “lock her up” and “build the wall”. Obviously, they must have watched other Trump rallies.
Such a shame she knew something about a Boeing 737 MAX.
Notice that the reporter felt it was her job to “push back” against some of the statements of those she interviewed. Has she ever done the same against allegations against Trump by reporting on racist remarks made by Biden? Of course not. The “push” only goes one way.
OMG!!! The first woman on the video at the link is the one i was talking about below!!! They interviewed her for at least three minutes and left out the substance of her interview....and as i said below- the interviewer, who world for PMSNBC, was telling us “i’m independent!!! i’m independent!!”

“At the rally yesterday there were two black ladies standing next to me. A reporter and cameraman come up to them, stick a microphone in the face of one lady and starting asking questions. She basically said, “I’m a lifelong democrat and voted for biden four years ago which i regret. Biden doesn’t care about anyone but himself. Trump wants to help the whole country which is why I’m here to support him!!”
We ask the reporter where she’s from- she says “NBC” and we start razing her but good. She says, “oh no...I’m independent!!”
I love when my predictions come true. The Lawfare is ensuring Trump wins and Dims won’t ever try that tactic again. That means America wins, I pray...

Is there a list of Trump’s racist and bigoted comments?
Immigrants from the Dominican Republic supporting Trump? I betcha they were legal immigrants that jumped through all the hoops to become a citizen and place a high value to there new American principals. They likely have jobs and are self supporting. Much the opposite of the illegal trash sanctuary cities like to keep in their drug infested tent cities.
The left likes to confuse illegals with those that honor the system trying to get the useful idiots to believe there is no difference.
My grand parents were immigrants that changed the pronunciation of their last names in order to blend in. They wanted to blend in and be Americans as America was at the time. Much unlike the foreign flag waiving crap running the border today.
I like Trump’s idea of rounding up all illegals and getting them to hell out of here.
Many immigrants come from communist countries so they know all about communism first hand and will not vote for communism.
If the democrats are concerned they won’t be able to rig another election they might retire Biden and have Mike or Gruesome Newsome pick up the nomination.
Let’s not forget, on two occasions when Biden was president, he referred to a black man as “boy.”
