Agree. This was number 9 or 10 as an issue and the republicans are hell bent on making it #1.
Restrictions? It should be mandatory in many cases.
The suburban white women who are on the pill are nearly all bat-cr@p crazy when it comes to the topic. When you tell them that the pill is a class one carcinogen, they do not care or don’t believe you. It’s brainwashing at its finest.
First of all morning after pills are not birth control. Second of all how could you possibly make birth control mandatory?
Mandatory restrictions on birth control? He’s not talking abortion.
It is a STATE matter.
There it can be argued whatever way the people there want to slice it.
I have my view. Abortion is wrong unless the mother’s life is at stake.
Which does not give to any one entity or person the power to hold sway with my belief over every jurisdiction in the United States.
I am talking legally and practically speaking.
That is why Trump says he has his views as do many of us but wants it out of the hands of the Supreme Court (Roe V Wade) and back to the people - which we know are varied in opinions.
At the same time, we can support organizations that are out there giving women better options than to destroy unborn lives as if they are NOTHING.
I see now the topic is birth control methods rather than abortion per se. However, to me they are similar in some ways. With Trump wanting other than a single national law or court case to rule over all Americans on this issue, seems like his view on THIS aspect could mirror his view on abortion issues.
However, even women are affected by inflation just like any one else. The abortion issue, was merely moved from the issue of the Federal purview to the states were the issue belonged all along. Younger women may react more than an older woman would.
Ugh please
Men have no interest in birth control
They allow their sex partners to fight for it, advocate for it, undergo abortions birth control- hardly anyone is aware that chemical/hormonal birth control is a carcinogen the same level as tobacco - breast CA vs lung, ditto abortion- breast cancer causing. Care abruption of hormones
Chemical birth control also has a risk factor of stroke. 50% of the people here know of a woman post stroke under 40 years of age zero the same for men
Ya men wish we would go back to the normal expectation of sex only within marriage They have zero interest
If it were switched and men were demanding women take toxic birth control and undergo abortion refusing to have extramarital sex then it would seem different but that is exactly what it is Men are passive about this issue but it serves their wants greatly.
If men would come out and say, and act like, they hate this division, toxicity, abortion sex before marriage, outside of marriage, this nonsense would all stop. But they don’t. Do they vote for birth control and abortion and lie about it in polls.
Pshaw. Goes back to Genesis. “She made me do it”
Oh, no. Not at all s/
Ask Lindsey Graham. Trump got Roe v Wade overturned. The federal government is no longer involved in abortion. The thing they should and can do is not fund it.
It should be MOOT.
We are no longer a republic.
If we have any sense, until that changes we should be single issue voters.
Restoration of our republic comes FIRST.
And Trump is the only candidate running to restore our republic.
We can sort out everything else after that’s done.
Confusing article...
Morning After pills are not contraception.
Contraception prevents pregnancy.
Morning After pills terminate a pregnancy.
They need to steer every question the media asks about it to inflation and how it affects families. Do not answer any questions on abortion or contraception.
Yes.
“ Contraception prevents pregnancy”
Anyone who belies that all contraception prevents pregnancy had better get it straight if they or the person they need to be on this stuff has ever used it. This is not necessarily true
It’s going to be asked at the debate. It’s good trump gets a clear message on his beliefs on this topic.
The thing they should and can do is not fund it.
Ever heard of The Hyde Amendment? Apparently not, otherwise, I doubt you would have made your above highlighted statement.
I dont see abortion as birth control. I see it as murder. Implants, tied tubes and vasectomies need to be imposed on the criminal, druggie, nut job, and parasite classes.
The Constitution is silent about matters having to with a citizen’s sexual activity, including abortion and prevention thereof. It does say that in matters in which the Constitution is silent, the State may take action or not take action.
Therefore, Trump and all Republicans should refer all such matters to the States.
