If Fetterman were running for Senate in my State, I would vote for him. He continues to be the biggest political surprise of my lifetime.

The Israeli foreign ministry has posted a video message directed at Ireland, which claims that if the Irish Government recognizes the State of Palestine, it will be encouraging terrorism.
The headline states: “Recognizing a Palestinian state will lead to more terrorism, instability in the region and jeopardize any prospects for peace. Don’t be a pawn in the hands of Hamas.”
In the 35-second video, the script declares: “Ireland: The possibility of recognizing a Palestinian state risks turning you into a pawn of Iran and Hamas.”
It continues: “Such a move will only strengthen Hamas and weaken an already dysfunctional Palestinian Authority. The fact that Hamas leaders are thanking you should serve as a wake-up call.”
The video concludes by saying: “Your actions will only fuel extremism and instability. Progress can only be achieved by direct negotiations within a wider regional context. Don’t be pawns in the hands of Hamas. Say no to recognition.”
A spokesman for the Irish Government said: “We have been very clear. Hamas is not the Palestinian people. Hamas is a terrorist organization that we utterly condemn. Ireland will recognize the state of Palestine shortly in order to keep the two-state peace solution alive. We continue to see a humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza and again call for a ceasefire, the release of hostages and for aid to flow.” …

Ireland - a complete waste of time. Just tell them to get bent
Agreed... over the past 35 years or some, Ireland has grown relatively rich while simultaneously becoming a truly pathetic country that slavishly embraces the sociopolitical agenda and mentality of the global left.
Where does this State of Palestine exist? What are its borders? Who is the leader? What is their form of government?
If Palestinians don’t live within those defined borders, are they citizens? If Palestine is an independent state, then when they cross another country’s border they should be driven back, no? If a country that borders them, doesn’t want to enjoy trade with them, they can close their borders and no allow migration, right?
I guess if Palestine wants to declare where they are a country, I guess I am fine with that. Israel can wait until the first rocket comes over and declare ware and invade them based on international law.
Sounds OK to me.
If every Irish person I’ve known wasn’t a good person and supportive of Israel, I would say that Jerusalem should just tell the current Irish government to GTH.
On second thought, that IS what Jerusalem should tell the current Irish government. If the Irish leader(s) want to “recognize” a fake, non-existent state anywhere, they’ve been getting far too much psilocybin in their Leprechaun dust. About all any such “recognition” would do for Ireland is accentuate the idiocy of the country’s political class. One thing we know for sure, there will never, ever be another attempt by Israel to allow the Fakestinian invaders of the Jewish Promised Land to continue.
This is just another attempt to install a partition in the Middle East. It started with the Sykes-Picot Agreement in 1916, which set the borders of all of the Middle-East Countries. Israel was expected to get demolished in its War of Independence, but they did not cooperate and won their Independence. This created a huge problem for the European and US Powers, and they have been trying to rectify it since 1948. That is why there is continual conflict in the Middle-East. I believe, as many suspect, that the US and Europe have helped Israel’s enemies in order to try to force a two state solution.
God is not mocked.
The Irish prime minister said he thinks other countries will join Norway, Spain and Ireland in recognizing a Palestinian state in the weeks ahead.”
Ireland, yet again, on the very wrong side of history.
Explain how that works?
If Fetterman were running for Senate in my State, I would vote for him. He continues to be the biggest political surprise of my lifetime.
That is some big-time deflection. Lol. Nobody cares who I will or will not vote for. My comments speak for themselves. Meanwhile, your entire country continues to be a joke.
Sure we care when a NeverTrump like you tells us what Democrat they will vote for. Speaking of dopey, the NYPD made a serious error giving an unhinged personality like you a concealed carry permit. You know this, right?
Ireland needs to receive millions of Palestinian refugees if they want to put their money where their mouth is. Otherwise, this is blather.
LOLLLLL! Still avoiding the topic at hand: your country officially supporting terror. You keep making irrelevant comments about me. It just shows what an unserious person you are. You can’t discuss issues, you just degrade yourself with personal attacks. It’s lovely to see. Keep going, please!

lol. There is no room in 1PP with that moniker.
piece of cake, trust me.

You pinged me to a thread I'm not participating in, claiming I'm from Ireland, this after I told you I'm an American and have never left this country. Couple this with a posting history that suggests you're at best a marginal personality, prone to offering unsolicited advice on the workings of the NYPD. Get help, for your own good and that of anyone else you should meet.
I made the original comment on May 2, and the comment was not addressed to you. You replied to that comment out of the blue FOURTEEN DAYS LATER (May 16th), and you had not previously commented on that particular thread. That is off the rails.
And still no comment on Ireland's support of terrorism.
