Ireland - a complete waste of time. Just tell them to get bent
Where does this State of Palestine exist? What are its borders? Who is the leader? What is their form of government?
If Palestinians don’t live within those defined borders, are they citizens? If Palestine is an independent state, then when they cross another country’s border they should be driven back, no? If a country that borders them, doesn’t want to enjoy trade with them, they can close their borders and no allow migration, right?
I guess if Palestine wants to declare where they are a country, I guess I am fine with that. Israel can wait until the first rocket comes over and declare ware and invade them based on international law.
Sounds OK to me.
If every Irish person I’ve known wasn’t a good person and supportive of Israel, I would say that Jerusalem should just tell the current Irish government to GTH.
On second thought, that IS what Jerusalem should tell the current Irish government. If the Irish leader(s) want to “recognize” a fake, non-existent state anywhere, they’ve been getting far too much psilocybin in their Leprechaun dust. About all any such “recognition” would do for Ireland is accentuate the idiocy of the country’s political class. One thing we know for sure, there will never, ever be another attempt by Israel to allow the Fakestinian invaders of the Jewish Promised Land to continue.
This is just another attempt to install a partition in the Middle East. It started with the Sykes-Picot Agreement in 1916, which set the borders of all of the Middle-East Countries. Israel was expected to get demolished in its War of Independence, but they did not cooperate and won their Independence. This created a huge problem for the European and US Powers, and they have been trying to rectify it since 1948. That is why there is continual conflict in the Middle-East. I believe, as many suspect, that the US and Europe have helped Israel’s enemies in order to try to force a two state solution.
God is not mocked.
The Irish prime minister said he thinks other countries will join Norway, Spain and Ireland in recognizing a Palestinian state in the weeks ahead.”
Ireland, yet again, on the very wrong side of history.
Ireland needs to receive millions of Palestinian refugees if they want to put their money where their mouth is. Otherwise, this is blather.
