An Ohio sex worker allegedly had contact with more than 200 clients despite knowing she was HIV-positive — and state officials are now warning anybody who engaged in “risky business” with her to come forward and get tested.
Linda Leccesse, 30, had contact with at least 211 clients from multiple states in the two years since Jan. 1 2022, which is around when she took an HIV test and learned she was positive for the potentially deadly virus, authorities said.
Leccesse solicited most of those clients on Market Street in Marietta — a small city in southeast Ohio on the border of West Virginia — but the possibly infected people are believed to be spread across the East Coast.

Before having intimate relations with someone you don’t know, think about this. Approximately one in ten people* are sociopaths. They have zero empathy. They can be charming, funny, and pleasant to be around...while they are manipulating you to get what they want.
Sometimes you might work with them or see them often at church or the grocery store and not realize what they are until you are in an actual relationship. People who sell themselves are, of course, across a whole spectrum of types, just like the rest of society. But the quicky...very dangerous.
* The ratio of sociopaths in prison is substantially higher. Food for thought.
The only meaningful precaution is to NEVER COPULATE WITH A PROSTITUTE.
How to stop her, and other serial spreaders? How about judicially inking The Scarlet Letter where it only shows when she is… spreading? Might pause potential victims in time. The only others who should see it there would be her, need to know, doctors.
If they mean “whore” they should write “whore.” If that is too blunt “prostitute” has served as a universal description of “whore” for those whose delicacy of nature is offended by blunt truths.
I wonder what description she used on her 1040.
