Honorable Mention!!
OK...that was too funny. One laugh leads to another. I was surprised that the second try didn’t create more laughter.
Good tunes...thanks, Songcraft. ((HUGS))
What a cool song...Daisy may (And Daisy may not).
Thanks, HGC...((HUGS))
Gosh, somehow I missed seeing your post here. You’re right....98º sounds almost cool next to 104º. LOL! I don’t know why I even fret about it, though. It’s gonna happen, and to tell the truth this Spring has been quite nice.
Sorry you’ve gotten nothing but drizzle. Sounds great to me, but then we haven’t had enough of it. Sounds like you have some kind of a concert all summer. What about the crickets? Where do they fit into the orchestra?
Be sure to support these artists by buying their music and attending their concerts when they come to your area.
Gizmo go his annual rabies shots at the vet yesterday.
Yesterday at Comanche Lake.
As you might imagine, there were quite a few people out at the lake yesterday. School let out for the summer so there's going to be a lot of people out there in the next few months.
How's everyone doing this morning?

Yikes! Still going to be mighty hot. Please don’t send that up here! LOL But yeah, it hasn’t been TOO bad there this spring. You’ve had worse.
It drizzling all day was a drag but it’s better than they were predicting up until the early morning weather report. They’d been saying we could have severe storms today but they ended up staying way down south. Might get a few storms tomorrow morning but nothing severe is expected.
It’s been a little foggy on and off tonight and the air just sticks to you. Yuck.
Crickets came out a while back, as soon as it warmed up. They’re the first to show up and the last to leave. Not many whirring tonight so maybe they aren’t happy with this damp weather either. LOL Lightning bugs are flitting around though.
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
A pretty day for your outing with Gizmo yesterday.
Wow, I thought our schools let out early (they do) but yours let out real early. Time to resign yourselves to sharing the lake with crowds for a while. There’s still room to roam.
We have just hired a new EE to bring us back up to 4. We have been one short since just after Christmas when my supervisor, my best friend here in town, a fellow happy hermit, went into the hospital with an infection that no one could find and fix. She was 7 weeks in ICU and passed away in mid February.
Our new EE is young, very excited about her new job, familiar with our main system from the site side, and I really like her. Hopefully in a month or so she will be ready to take on a few of her own employee units and things will ease up. I got to meet her in the office the day before she moved to Iowa. (We all work from home.) She already knows all the issues and excuses from the “other” side, and she said it out loud...”no matter what it is payroll’s fault”, and now she IS payroll. LOL!
And thank you for the appropriate Beatles tune. 😁((HUGS))
Speaking of bugs, I’ve been meaning to ask. Have you had more flies than usual this spring? They have been driving us nuts.
Hubby even has a stinky fly “trap” hanging on a tree, and it’s had to be replaced already because it was so full. I think they’ve taken the place of skeeters this year. LOL! I guess the good part is that they don’t bite or make me itch. :)
“May The Good Lord Bless And Keep You” as well...Gentleman JIm.
A perfect song to end a busy, busy week. Thank you! ((HUGS))
So far I haven’t seen ANY flies yet. We were inundated with mosquito hawks for a few weeks though. I’ve never seen so many of them. They drove the cats crazy because every window had several of them hanging on the screens and the cats kept trying to get at them, dirtying the window panes. There was no point in cleaning the windows until that mess was over with.
If they land on you long enough, flies do bite and it hurts. Fortunately, they don’t usually to land on us long enough to bite.
Thanks, luvie, for the tunes. ((HUGS))
Hi, Kathy! You’re welcome. I love doing it for our wonderful troops.
Thank YOU for all you do...for them AND for us!
Nighty-night!
Yeah, I’ve been bitten by them. The big ol’ horse flies. But, their bites don’t itch. That’s a plus. LOL!
We had mosquito hawks for a while too. Makes ya wonder if they are also like cicadas and only come out during certain years.
Guess I’d better fly off to bed. I didn’t realize how late it was. I wanted to watch another show, and bummer...I’d better not. See ya tomorrow!
