My wife is a wonderful woman, but she has horrible taste in television. She, at times, will acknowledge this shortcoming as “guilty pleasures.”
One of her favorite streaming “programs” is the hospital drama “New Amsterdam.” It’s god-awful. More unreal than reality TV. This woke piece of soap opera pabulum is utterly unwatchable. Every once in a while, perhaps to punish me for crimes I am not aware I have committed, she will turn “New Amsterdam” on the bedroom TV before we go to sleep. When the latest overwrought episode mercifully comes to an end, I ask the love of my life the same two questions: Why do you hate me, and where do I go to get the last hour of my life back?
At least it’s just an hour.
In the Covid soap opera, the lockdowners, the “follow the science” preachers, took years from our lives on a foundation of bad science. Some of us knew that while we were in the throes of the endless Covid Red Alert; the rest are learning it these days from the same charlatans who ran the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
Testifying earlier this year in a closed-door interview before the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, a transcript of which was released this week, former NIH Director Francis Collins confessed that the government’s sweeping social-distancing guidance wasn’t backed by the science we were all supposed to be following.

I never have and never will take it. Had COVID twice. First time aches and headache followed by a few weeks of coughing up nasty mucous. 2nd time the aches and a little bit of headache, but no coughing. It was quite endurable. Never missed a day at work (work from home), nor felt need to take tot he bed....but then again I'm healthy.
Another lady I know developed POTS after the shot, and another started having seizures. You know what their doctors said...I have no doubt you must! “Had to be a pre-existing condition.”
I have a shirt that says “When this virus is over, I still want some of you to stay away from me.”

My wife as well......she was locked and loaded for that one......fortunately for us we live in a state that was at least semi-sane during covid so here it was treated as more of a suggestion.
Don't get me started with my Michigan Governess Gretchen Whitless that banned the sale of gardening and outdoor supplies, so whole isles in our Meijer store were blocked off with caution tape.
You could walk around in the food section and buy bottles of wine, but you couldn't go into the home and garden section and buy a bag of fertilizer.
I saw that today. Someone in a Jeep Wrangler, driving with their windows down, and wearing a mask.
They usually have the windows rolled up tight so the virus particles harmlessly bounce off the car.
Wait, seriously? Damn, I never saw that or I would’ve started playing bumper cars with them!
The much bigger scam is the astronomical body count assigned to COVID, when victims were already sick with other deadly conditions but were still counted as if the virus was the main cause.
It was all bullshit. If you’ve seen the videos of sneezes and coughs on YT, you know why. Here’s just one.
