Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is furious at being left out of the fast-action morning chest-thumping between former President Donald Trump and President Biden over their upcoming debates.
The independent presidential candidate complained soon after Biden, 81, and Trump, 77, agreed to square off without him in a Georgia debate hosted by CNN on June 27 and another hosted by ABC News on Sept. 10.
“Presidents Trump and Biden are colluding to lock America into a head-to-head match-up that 70% say they do not want,” Kennedy bemoaned on X.
“They are trying to exclude me from their debate because they are afraid I would win,” he claimed, optimistically given recent polling.
Biden-Harris campaign Chair Jen O’Malley Dillon penned a letter to the Commission on Presidential Debates, insisting that the “squandering debate time on candidates with no prospect of becoming president.”
However, in its announcement, CNN revealed that the prerequisite will be for candidates to “receive at least 15% in four separate national polls of registered or likely voters that meet CNN’s standards for reporting.”
Kennedy is averaging 10.8% in the latest RealClearPolitics aggregate of polling.
“If Americans are ever going to escape the hammerlock of the two-party system, now is the time to do it. These are the two most unpopular candidates in living memory,” Kennedy added.
“By excluding me from the stage, Presidents Biden and Trump seek to avoid discussion of their eight years of mutual failure including deficits, wars, lockdowns, chronic disease, and inflation.”
Biden sparked the debate furor with a Wednesday morning taunt against Trump in a video posted to X.
“Donald Trump lost two debates to me in 2020. Since then, he hasn’t shown up for a debate. Now he’s acting like he wants to debate me again. Well, make my day, pal,” ***

Well, if the rule was no candidates with brain worms, RFJ Jr would be excluded. However, that would also exclude Joey.... so yes, he does have a point.
He should be excluded if for no other reason his voice is horrible to listen to......like hearing a dog that’s had it’s vocal chords clipped trying to bark.
What are they possibly afraid of ?
Not to be mean but I have a hard time listening to rfk with thst awful throat condition. This is a chance for Trump to clobber biden we don’t need rfk muddying up the waters.
Is that RFK Jr. raging, or just another worm munching on his brain?!?
If Junior siphoned significantly more votes away from Trump as he did Biden, there is no question in my mind that he would be included in the debates and given prime-time coverage by the Lamestream media.

I don’t see an issue of Trump offering 3 debates to RFK in Sep/Oct...offering up 2x debates with VP choices. It’d slice off points from Biden.

Not that I’m a fan of his, whatsoever, but I tend to agree. The 15% threshold’s sole purpose is to exclude 3rd party candidates.
Agree it is painful.
He’s just raging against the machine. The Biden cartel controls everything, they have full control and all power. It will be as they say it will.
That’s how it goes in a dictatorship. Trump can choose to go, or not. That’s the only choice, the only power, he has. RFK can rage against the machine. That’s all he can do.
I will tell you this, if the debate happens (and I think it will, Trump has no other option, really). 90% of the time will be spent on Abortion, on Trump assaulting women and paying off porn stars. There will be no other subjects except a short aside on how Biden saved the economy and slayed the Trump-caused inflation. And Trump will have to sit there and take it…because even when he agrees to the rules, the other side and their paid lackeys at the moderator tables, don’t have to follow even their own rules.
That’s how it goes in a dictatorship.
I’m no fan. It’s the principle.
