Denys Yaroslavskyi is angry.
...
“There was no first line of defence. We saw it. The Russians just walked in. They just walked in, without any mined fields” he says.
He shows me video from a drone feed taken a few days ago of small columns of Russian troops simply walking across the border, unopposed.
He says officials had claimed that defences were being built at huge cost, but in his view, those defences simply weren’t there. “Either it was an act of negligence, or corruption. It wasn’t a failure. It was a betrayal”.
Everyone knew that this incursion was likely to happen. Both Ukrainian and Western intelligence knew Russia had been building forces across the border – with estimates of it massing up to 30,000 troops.

“Walking Through Ukraine”
Watch out I see the justification for NATO intervention here.
They Spent resources on a counteroffensive due to political pressure instead of building up defenses
More weapons are needed, along with more money and soldiers. This is something the American taxpayer will rally behind, especially before the November election!!
““Either it was an act of negligence, or corruption. It wasn’t a failure. It was a betrayal”.”
Yep, because it was all pilfered off before it got there. Still is...
Why is this reality so hard to see and understand? It is not rocket science.
“Either it was an act of negligence, or corruption. It wasn’t a failure. It was a betrayal”.
The corruption was well-documented prior to this advance, but since it make the Kiev Regime look bad, it was ignored by the West and their steno-media.
Russia is making gains in multiple places the past 24 hours
Ukraine is pulling troops from the east and Kherson area to Karkov
Sounds like mass panic
This video describes the military situation in Ukraine on the 12th of May 2024

When you think about it, the defenses in Donbass were built up by NATO, as they could openly operate in Ukraine prior to Feb, 2022. I suspect that defenses were not built up elsewhere, simply because the Neocons never expected open warfare between Russia and Ukraine...so the Kiev Regime was stuck trying to build up those defenses AFTER the operation had begun, which was difficult, both because they would be under fire while trying to build up the defenses, and because they simply didn’t know how to construct them (training in Poland only gets you so far), so it was easier to simply ‘make a dime’ selling the materials on the open market...and, of course, the Neocons protected just that.
Mediterranean villas aren’t just going to buy themselves.
Oh yeah. It’s likely most of the material sent over has walked, leaving the poor Ukranian kids ill equipped. What a cluster this is.
Just you wait until Putin recovers from his 10th heart attack and the Ruskies replenish their stock of rockets and bullets they used up, that we were told about, and then watch out you Ukies.
Oh, but wait. There's more! Don't forget them game-changer F16s that are following the game-changing Javlins, Abram tanks, Leopard tanks, Patriots, cluster bombs, and Storm Shadows, and the $200 billion we printed and sent over there.
This might not end well.
Same as our border.
That is actually a good point. It’s not tax payer money being spent. It’s technically borrowed, from the Fed. Printed up and sent.
And then they sit there and do currency conversion for Euros or Pounds and quote those numbers — that were determined in the currency exchange market that happens to reside inside the US.
It’s hard to see how this continues.
Technically yes, but in actuality it is tax payer fiat money being spent via inflation.
Every dollar in "tax payer"s hands, that was 100 cents two years ago, is something of the order of 90 cents today because of the billions to Ukraine plus all the other financial nuttiness.
No Matter, just quickens the final and inevitable collapse of the fiat dollar, whose intrinsic value is exactly 0. No more, no less.
This might well not end.
When you do that, you can "just walk right in" and take territory without losing any lives.
No, Ukraine didn't have the troops to defend Kharkiv.
