Conservative attorney George Conway suggested Thursday that the cross-examination of adult film actor Stormy Daniels by former President Trump’s legal team in his hush money trial this week was a “complete disaster.”
“My takeaway was that the continued cross-examination of Stormy Daniels was a complete disaster and fiasco for the defense,” Conway said during a panel appearance on CNN, adding, “It just went on and on, and … they didn’t have anything on her.”
Conway, who is going through a divorce with former Trump aide Kellyanne Conway, has been a staunch critic of the former president. Still, he praised Trump’s lawyer, Susan Necheles — the only woman defending him in the Manhattan hush money case — as a “good” attorney who knows how to cross-examine witnesses.

If this tryst didn’t happen, then shouldn’t Stormy Daniels be charged with trying to illegally inflence an election - using libel?
They really need to get Bragg to actually say what was the illegal means Trump was trying to use to influence the election. Because I’d be willing to bet it would actually apply to Bragg, Merchan, Daniels, and the whole corrupt circus. That’s probably why they don’t want to come out and say what it is - because it would actually incriminate THEM.

Stormy Daniels is about as good as a can of beans in the Trump trial she is useless for Conway and he knows it just some of that Biden bragging going on.
Did you see it? It wasn’t televised. The only thing we know is the defense allowed Stormy talk as much as she wanted without objection. Very unusual. Maybe part of some unique strategy.

There is this idea a lot of FReepers have that we need to “know what the enemy is saying” - as if knowing the latest lies gives us some kind of strategic advantage. I think they believe by keeping abreast of all the lies, we are somehow better prepared to defend against them.
It’s weird - I originally came to FR as an alternative to the fake news lies - but then half the stuff posted here is fake news lies! Go figure.

Well, it is a bit hard for me to see how telling the nation that Trump is such a virulent stud that he can make a porn star pass out is going to be that much of a strike against him.

I read another article that said she was disintegrated by the cross examination. But does the jury care? Or is it “jury”?
