A teenage anti-Israel agitator who police say defaced a World War I memorial in New York City earlier this week has been arrested and charged after his father turned him in to police Thursday night, the NYPD says.
The 16-year-old boy is accused of defacing the 107th United States Infantry monument, located along Central Park on the Upper East Side, by spray-painting "Gaza" in red across the base of the structure.
NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Operations Kaz Daughtry, last night posted an image on X, formerly Twitter, of the young vandal in handcuffs sitting on a bench inside a police station. His face is blurred out.

Good on dad, maybe he should have applied consequences sooner.
Did dad get the reward money? 🤔
Who do these little idiots think gave their all, their very lives in some cases, to protect things like the “free speech” that the idiots are shouting about? Or do they even care?
Good man. Right things are hard to do. I would not want a son who only gives me such lousy terms.
If that kid stops doing these things because of this, dad has done his job.
Good for the father!!!
There’s no detail about the father turning him in but there is this: “One of the culprits was placed in handcuffs today thanks to the World’s Greatest Detectives.”
If the father just got a call from the police saying bring the kid to the police station, that’s not exactly an act of heroism.
I’m sure this little idiot doesn’t know a damn thing about the brave souls who gave their lives in WW I (and II).
Instead of learning about history, he learned about pronouns, transgender issues, and how to lead protests if the world doesn’t conform to his warped, immature, ignorant views.
Now he’ll learn about real life from the inside of a jail cell.
“Some feel good news to discuss.”
Nothing to feel good about. Students in America are being taught to hate America. Deface a WWI memorial? Why? Simple rage and hatred for this nation.
Can’t feel good about that.

He knows damn well that the kid is going to get a slap on the wrist -- if the D.A. even bothers to prosecute the case.
“The teen has been charged with two counts of criminal mischief in the third degree, which are felonies, and two counts of making graffiti, a class A misdemeanor, police say.”
Seriously? They charge him with 2 felonies and a class A misdemeanor for some relatively minor graffiti? Would he have been charged with a felony if his graffiti had nothing to do with Israel? Highly unlikely. Punishing people extra hard only because they do something anti-Israel just breeds resentment against the Jews. And it feeds the stereotype of Jews having inordinate power.

Fox isn’t perfect, but neither are sites like Breitbart or Gateway Pundit. There’s anti-spyware out there that can flush tracking cookies.
Looks like it might be one of those rich white kids with a brain full of self-hating mush.
He didn’t realize WWI was not the war where the bad guys went after the Jews.
Pretty sure you are correct, a NYPD Brass stunt, and they’ll go easy on the kid, however I was encouraged by the ethics of the Father, and wanted to bring that out.
You are correct, now Fox attempts to track visitors to their site.
The whole thing is a farce. The only reason they turned the incident into an NYPD PR crusade was because the perp is white.
Kudos to the father for not sparing the rod and spoiling the child further by keeping th3 criminal act secret!
It probsbly hurt the father to do so, but it was the son who brought the co sequences of his own actions upon himself
You know, Singapore has the right idea. Cane the ignorant idiot. Ten lashes, in public and done. Learning is, sometimes, difficult for the entitled.
